After the encounter of both Xena Knight and Vincenzo.
Things in the Russo house seemed to calm down. Esme saw a lot of Leon. but obviously he'd get a scowl or a glare. Eliseo asked Aurelia out on a date. Silvano working late trying to find out who the mole is. Arseneau locking himself up keeping a secret from his siblings afraid of how they'll react. Ottavio introducing Yui to his family who they very much love.

Vincenzo recalling his encounter with Xena and most importantly thinking of ways to apologize to her. After all that night was his fault.

Now It's the day of the Mafia ball where Esme and Eliseo finally get to see Nikolai. Eliseo who had a bad feeling about today, waved off his thoughts and fixed his tie.

A smile grew on his face once he saw a text message from Aurelia. Esme put on her jewelry and brushed through her hair. Her eyes glistened with excitement.

She couldn't wait for this ball although her and Eliseo barely attended and would only stay 30 minutes in the past events.

Something about this ball feels different almost as if she's going to meet someone who will change her life.

She squealed in excitement and left her room. Of course once she slowly walked down the stairs it was no surprise that all the brothers were dressed. They all wore suits while Esme wore a gown.

She held her head high and let out a smile once her brothers noticed her presence.

The brothers were the first to exist the limo and Esme the last. Silvano offered his hand while she  stepped out. Greeted by the sudden photos, Esme hung her head low while covering her face with her hand.

Those flashes were causing her to go mad.

Ignoring all the paparazzi's they all walked to the grand building where the ball was held. To the media this was nothing but an event that included the richest people. But of course this was a Mafia ball where enemies or friends wander around.

Eliseo slipped away from his brothers, having Esme distract them before she slips away with him. They hurried to the elevator but before the door closes a man enters.

Esme glances at Eliseo who just shrugs. He looks familiar but they've never met him that's what they know for sure. He presses the floor number and stares at the twins.

"Aren't you guys going to press the number of the floor you're going to?" He questions, making Esme's face turn red from embarrassment.

Eliseo reaches out to the buttons and lets a little smile to the man. "Sorry," He says

"I'm Eliseo and that's Esme," Eliseo speaks as the man looks at them. "Ace," He mutters.

The elevator dings signaling they've reached the floor. The twins hurriedly left before they strike another convo with Ace.

"The silence was deafening,"Esme mumbles as they walked the halls. "This is room '945'" Eliseo says, signaling Esme to be careful.

Esme had her hands on her thighs where her dagger lay while Eliseo had his hand rested on his waist. They knock twice and once the door opens they are greeted with Nikolai who smirks at them.

"Where were you all this time," Esme asks, running to hug him. Eliseo shuts the door as Esme pull away from the hug.

"No hugs for me?" Nikolai asks Eliseo who lets out a playful glare and engulfs him in a hug. Nikolai a father figure who raised the twins for as long as they remember.

"I've been busy with things," Nikolai says, answering Esme's questions. "Now tell me everything," He demands as the twins exchange looks.

After the conversation with Nikolai Esme and Eliseo headed downstairs before their brothers start to worry. Esme walked towards the bar and decided to get a shot of vodka. She observed everyone her eyes landing on a gorgeous girl.

She rested her eyes and her body leaned on the wall. Esme smiled when realization dawned to her.

"The Brazilian Mafia Princess truly a goddess" She thought. Esme then headed to her brothers and the day went by so fast before she even knew it.
