Outside your chocolate gaze, frozen in time
I watch your orbs dancing in the night.
Those eyelashes fluttering, a whisper and a rime,
Trying to resist the urge to close with all their might.
The power you hold in your eyes in infinite,
As an observer from the sidelines, I can only hope
Learn from my mistakes instead of a bad habit,
And as these eyes follow me, untie the rope,
I lean in to temptations,
Give in to inspiration,
Write this story about an 'us' that will never be,
And cry with these eyes I Ô so long to see.
