It was eventually the next day. And being the bored child with half the mind of a 11 year old and a 15 year old, you caused chaos.
Somehow finding an electric scooter in one of the rooms, you drove around the place with a juice box in hand. Almost running people over while you drove through the halls.
Did you feel bad for them? Yes
Are you going to stop? Definitely not.
You would think that someone like Coulson would be watching you, making sure you're not in trouble. Well that's kinda hard to do when he was gone to pick up Steve. Probably having the adorable fanboy moment in the jet with Steve right now.
But here we are now. You, a child with half the mind of a 11 year old and a 15 year old, causing chaos. Loki would be either proud or amused at your destruction.
"Watch it!"
"Sorry not sorry! Ah!"you shouted to the random person before halting in front of Nat. She didn't even flinch when you abruptly stopped a foot away from her
"What are you doing?"She asked amused at the scene
"Sorry Ms. Romanoff-"
"Natasha."she interrupted
"Natasha, sorry. But I got bored so I found this thing and some juice to cause some chaos."you explained sipping on your juice right after
"Wasn't Coulson supposed to be watching you?"she asked crossing her arms as if to intimidate you into telling the truth. Even if she didn't cross her arms she'd intimidate you with a glare.
"He was called in for work stuff. No one came to replace him so..."you shrugged
"Well causing chaos is over, come on. Rogers and Banner are here."Nat motioned you to follow, turning around to the direction to go outside
"Oh shit."you mumbled while following behind her
You put your scooter aside to follow Nat outside. Sipping on your juice box every so often while walking.
Once outside both of you stopped to watch the jet land before walking again to meet up with Coulson and Steve. And as soon as you saw them walk out, you gave it your all to stop the inner fangirl in you.
"Agent Romanoff, (Y/N)."Coulson said to the both of you before nodding over to Steve's direction
"Captain Rodgers."
"Hi."Nat said to Steve, while you just waved in awe to him. You just couldn't believe that this was happening, that any of it was happening.
First it was seeing Stark tower. Then meeting Coulson and Pepper less than an hour later. After that was Nick Fury and Natasha Romanoff. All these meetings were a lot to process.
"What's your name kid?"Steve nodded over to you as Nat and Coulson talked
"(Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N). Nice to meet you Mr. Rodgers."You answered putting hand out to shake, to which he took
"What are you doing in a place like this (Y/N)?"he asked letting your hand go, nodding over to the area around the both of you
"You'll know soon. After we see Mr. Banner then I'll explain."
"Um-"Steve was about to interrogate some more until he was stopped
"It was quite the buzz around here, finding you in the ice. I thought Coulson was gonna swoon. Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards yet?"Nat interrupted walking in front, making the you and Steve follow
"Trading cards?"Steve asked forgetting about the subject from before
"They're vintage, he's very proud."Nat replied with a smile of amusement
"So proud he won't even let me touch them without gloves."you said as the three of you saw Dr. Banner walked around trying to stay out of the way of people.
"Dr. Banner."Steve said, catching Bruce's attention. Both walking up to each other to shake hands. Bruce not noticing you yet since you were behind Nat fangirling.
"Oh, yeah. Hi. They told me you'd be coming."Bruce said
"Word is you can find the cube."Steve mentioned to Bruce
"Is that the only word on me?"Bruce asked seeing if he brought up the hulk
"Only word I care about."Steve replied taking a note on the Hulk subject around Bruce
Bruce took in the sentiment before replying, "It must be strange for you, all of this."
He motioned around the area as Steve looked around as if reminiscing the area.
"Well, this is actually kind of familiar."Steve said remembering the days from the army
"Gentlemen, you might want to step inside in a minute. It's gonna get a little hard to breath."
"And Hella awesome."you commented catching Bruce's attention
"So they do start young here?"Bruce asked to Nat, both now thinning of the conversation they had before
"She might but it's undecided since she doesn't work here."Nat shrugged slightly pushing you in front of her so you could introduce yourself
"I'm (Y/N). Big fan of your work that I've just recently read on biochemistry. I'll explain what I'm doing here later with Mr. Rodgers."you said trying not to ramble, putting a hand out to shake. He shook it in return.
"Thank you and good to know."Bruce said with an amused raised eyebrow, not used to people bringing up his other work and not Hulk. Before the four heard a siren ring off in the distance
"Is this a submarine?"Steve asked walking over to the edge
"Really? They wanted me in a submerged, pressurized metal container?"Bruce said more rhetorically
The two both move closer to the edge of the Helicarrier, seeing four giant propellers mounted on the sides. Lifting the Helicarrier into the air as the ship takes flight. Steve watches in awe while Bruce just smiles in slight amusement.
"Oh, no. This is much worse."
