A/N: I'm back~!!!

-_-_-_-

It was about the fifth or sixth day staying in the apartment you were slowly growing to call home. The day seemed nice, a little cloudy but not awfully cold. It was simple.

You sat in your room sketching a blueprint for a soon to be built project you were planning. Only you couldn't start it without your plan and supplies Stark was going to send over.

You continued the finishing touches in the blueprint when Nat walked in dressed in casual clothing.

"Okay kid, we can't always eat out all the time. As much as you like it, we need to have some homemade meals."Nat said, walking into your room, sitting on your bed.

"So I wanted to see if you wanted to go grocery shopping with me. There we'll decide on something to eat."She continued as you turned to her.

"Could I make dinner? I haven't cooked in a while and I want to make you something."Your face brightens at the idea, trying to give back as a thanks for everything she's done.

"I don't know kid, didn't you say you couldn't remember most things like you did before?"she asked, a bit concerned. She didn't want you to hurt yourself mentaly or over exert yourself to just try and remember certain things.

"Well that's memories from... from something! The point is that I can cook and I'm going to make you the best meal ever."You tried to reason, noticing the hesitant and concerned face Nat had.

Nat sighed, thinking the idea over. She knew this would make you happy and after everything that's happened, something fun like this was well deserved. "Well then, let's get you some ingredients."she smiled, watching as you did a little happy dance.

"You go to the right, I'll go to the left. That way we get the things we need quicker and get back to the apartment sooner."Nat stated, giving you a list of things that's needed in the section your going to.

"Alrighty! Meet back in the middle or cash registers?"you asked, grabbing two baskets for the both of you.

"Middle. Now be quick, fight if someone tries anything."she said, almost motherly before ruffling your hair.

"Yes ma'am. You be careful too!"you laughed, trying to straighten your hair back in place.

"Always am kid."she smiled walking over to her section.

You walked over to your section, going down each aisle for things you needed. You grabbed things like bread, veggies and peanut butter. As well as small things not on the list since you had no snacks on the list.

Sooner than later you walked down the aisle with canned goods. There you saw a man closer to the other end of the aisle looking at some specific cans. Not thinking much of it, you continued looking for the can of tomato paste.

Then you had a problem, the cans were at the top shelf. And you were shorter than before so in conclusion: you couldn't reach it.

If someone were to turn in your direction, they'd notice an 11 year old jumping to try and reach a can of tomato paste. A sight anyone would laugh at, and that's what the man in the same aisle did. He chuckled under his breath before going in your direction to help you.

"Did ya need some help?"the man spoke up from a good distance behind you. You sighed in defeat turning around to look at the man. Only it wasn't just any person, it was Uncle Ben.

"Actually- yeah. Could you please hand me the tomato paste?"you asked, pointing up to a specific brand of tomato paste.

"Here you go kid."you smiled in return, placing the can into the basket.
