Steve watches until the monitor goes black. Thor, who didn't even look, just listened, stands there, torn apart. They all just stand there in stunned silence, well except you. You just sipped on your juice box, making noise as it was finished. Which earned you some stares you did not want.
"Sorry..."you smiled sheepishly

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?"Banner said, taking the attention from you. Which you internally were thankful for. Your anxiety could never if that kept happening.
"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?"Steve asked, making the others look over to Thor
Thor walked over closer to the table as he explained, "He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract."
'Oh how I wish I could stop this from happening but this is out of my control. Kind of.'
"An army? From outer space?"Steve looked at the others in disbelief
'Yes Cap. Lead by a giant purple grape ass alien. Once I see he I will-'
"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for."Banner said catching Thor's attention and breaking your thoughts.
Nat noticed you grip on your pencil grow tighter one they mentioned the Chitauri. Making a note to herself to ask you later abut that.
"Selvig?"Thor asked noticing the familiar name
"He's an astrophysicist."Banner answered
"He's a friend."Thor replied back
"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours."Nat said to which you gave her a reassuring smile to her, which also took your mind off of Th*nos.
"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here."Steve said looking around to see if anyone had anything.
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him."Banner said slightly sarcastically
'If only you knew Bruce. I would defend Loki and say he's being controlled but that would mess things up when I had to explain.'you thought raising an eyebrow at the scientist
"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother."Thor defended for Loki.
"He killed eighty people in two days."Nat said unamused.
"He's adopted."Thor tried to reason again, but poorly.
"Pfft"you slightly laughed before hiding from the stares from the others "*fake coughs* Sorry..."
'At least you tried Thor.'you thought giving him a small smile in trying.
"I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?"Banner said shrugging off what you did. He already grew use to your strange antics from just knowing you the last 10 or so hours.
(I actually don't know the exact time lapse in the movie, only it's about three or so days. I think.)
"It's a stabilizing agent."Tony walks in with Coulson.
