metamorphosis

After making a deal with a mysterious elder god called the knull, Joe possesses the superhuman ability to transform into a powerful  fire being  at will. in this form, crane is inconceivably powerful. back on the ship crane is trying to understand the nature of this metamorphosis

Mira:"i can't belie you died and came back not to mention what you've been through with that thing that being or whatever giving you this power but why didn't i see him "

"maybe because i was hi champion or whatever maybe he just used you to get to me i  don't know i'm still a bit confused by all this"

"that explains why i cant heal any more he was just using me to get to you i couldn't heal my wound when i got on the ship "

"hey Mira listen i'm sorry, i know you don't want to go back but i have to do this im sorry"

"it's okay no need to apologies you literally died to save me i think i can handle being married

"thanks but i think i'll pass,plus i have some plans for the future"

" i analysed it over and over again i'm just baffled by this it's like you're no longer human and the powers you got it's like metamorphosis,you've evolved into something else"

"that sounds really creepy,wait powers as in plural.you mean i can do more than burn stuff" 

"i made a list of what i got so far. apparently you have: superhuman strength,speed and durability accelerated healing and fire resistance

fire projection:the ability to generate, control and project fire from your body at will and uses it as a weapon to attack his enemies.

pyro telekinesis: you can manipulate, control and move objects using fire and smoke through your mind.

fire construction: you are able to construct various objects such as shields or weapons with flames.

super human agility : The elemental energy that empowers you also enhanced your reflexes, coordination, dexterity and accuracy. This allows you to dodge attacks from enemies at point-blank range.

and apparently you can also fly but i'm not 100% sure about that"

"holey shit ! i'm going to have so much fun with this imagine all the fortune i can make as a super bounty hunter, i need a superhero name. how about obsidian no fire lord no that sounds lame you know what who cares, i'm practically invincible"

"well not exactly your body is unstable Possessing the power of the abyss makes your  body struggle to restrain the dark aspects of it's own powers. which means The more often you use these powers, the more it affects you're mind and soul, which makes you filled with rage and  lose control and possibly becoming a supernova capable of torching an entire planet"

"got it don't get mad or transform for too long , but supernova! that sounds like a cool name i'll take it,hey arcane the little fight with the dragon made me realize that i need you with me like a partner or something what if i lade a robotic body so you can move freely "

"i don't know sir,remember the last time you started building robots"

"alright that append one time only and it was hundred and ten years ago i learned from my mistake since then and this time ill only build one specially for you "

Mira:"wait what happend last time?,seems like an interesting story"

"we have plenty of time before we arrive to my planet,and you seem to have a lot of long story's"

"alright i'll tell you,so back when i was still a relevantly young adventurer i got obsessed with making robots i always wanted to make advanced machines and i just didn't have the right equipment back on earth.but here it's a new world with infinite possibilities so i got carried away with building these bots gave them advanced ai and called them the doom bots"

"how many did you make? ten? twenty ?"

"around 10 thousands sounds crazy right ? in my defense i was intending to sell them,but unfortunately the robots got more intelligent than i anticipated and soon after that they took over an entire planet you may know it as craneiac-prime, they named it after me for some reason they think i'm their god.and yeah that's about it"

"holey crap how many planets did you destroy "

" i tried to stop plus the planet had no advanced life forms just bunch of animals and vegetation

"you know what if you don't mind i'm a bit tired i cold use some rest before we arrive"

"yeah sure go and take some rest and in the mean time me and arcane will keep figuring out what else i can do "
