"That's it! I can't take it anymore!" I wake up to hear Sebastian getting up from bed, leaving me cold and alone in our bed. I wrap the covers around my bare body as Sebastian comes back with a little infant so small you would think its a doll in his arms.
"Don't squish him." I chide Sebastian softly. I get up from bed, grabbing my robe to wrap my body in, the night air nipping at my bare skin.
"I'm not, don't worry." I smile and stand next to Sebastian, stroking my finger across the small, smooth cheek of our little baby boy. He bounces the whimpering child lovingly as he shifts closer to me.
"We are not having another one of these things." He whispers to me. I chuckle and look up to Sebastian, beginning to stroke his hair to calm him slowly. He moans softly before leaning his head against mine. "I love you, Sebastian." I whisper to him, finally sensing Trent, our three month old baby, relax in Sebastian's arms. "I love you too, Aurora."
"You want me to make you some coffee? It's almost time to go to work anyway." Sebastian shifts his position to get a glimpse of the alarm clock on our nightstand. "Yeah, might as well, thank you, baby." I smile and kiss Sebastian on his lips softly before exiting the large, warm bedroom that I've had the pleasure of sleeping in for two amazing years now.
We drive up as a family to the familiar glass doors to Sebastian's company. We both unstrap Trent from his car seat. As we get out of the car and walk over to the tall, majestic building, I read the silver, discrete lettering on the glass doors with pride. Strong Enterprises. The place I met my perfect husband. I feel a tear in my eye as I hook my arm with Sebastian's and lean my head on his shoulder.
I hear my black heels click through the halls of the beautiful building as I fix my black blazer and pencil skirt once again. "You look gorgeous, don't worry." I look up to Sebastian and smile. "You look better." I tease. "I think Trent looks the best." I chuckle and look at Trent's little t-shirt with a black suit jacket painted onto it. "Yes he does." I say with a smile. We walk into the large office together and I take the same seat I've taken since I was twenty and I had just taken this job.
Sebastian hands Trent over to me before he fixes his suit and tie. "You'll need to accompany me for the twelve o'clock meeting, I need a typest to record the conversation." I chuckle. "Don't you think this huge company can invest in a digital recorder?"
"No..." Sebastian pecks a kiss on my cheek. "... That's one less reason why I need you with me in those meetings." I giggle and kiss him back, but on the lips. "I kind of like gawking at you too when my meetings get too boring." Sebastian chuckles deeply and my heart goes a flutter, just like always. He sits down on the other side of our two partner desk, Trent bouncing away in my arms. I clear my throat, trying to get Sebastian's attention. "What is it, darling?"
"You're forgetting something." He looks up at me and frowns before remembering. "Ah yes." He reaches into one of his drawers and pulls out a timer and sets it for thirty minutes. "Happy?" He asks me snidely. I chuckle. "Very." I answer back.
After the thirty minutes are passed, I get up and put Trent in Sebastian's arms. "Don't forget to set it again." He says as I sit back down. "Very well." I turn the timer to thirty minutes before I hear Gloria coming in on the intercome. "Mr. and Mrs. Strong's office." I say proudly.
"Lilac and Brad are here to see you, ma'am... And sir." I smile to Sebastian. "Escort them to the office, Gloria."
"Yes ma'am." I let go of the button and watch as Sebastian continues bouncing the baby and working on his paper work.
After a few minutes, I hear Lilac and Brad come walking in. I get up and start to sign to the both of them. "How are you? I haven't seen you for so long. Have you decided on a date yet?" Lilac and Brad both answer, Lilac signing and Brad speaking. "June 28th." I smile and hug Lilac tightly. "I wish you the best of luck." Before we could talk anymore, Coral comes, followed by Jay. "I told you a million times, the switch in the left turns the building heat on and the right turns the lights off. Is that so hard to remember?" Jay crosses his arms and pouts. "You didn't say that before."
"What?!" Coral nearly punched Jay right across the face before Lilac pushes Coral away from Jay. Sebastian and I chuckle before I lean over to him. "When do you think their wedding date is going to be?" Sebastian widens his eyes and looks down at me. "Them? Get married? I can barely control those two as their boss, let alone their brother in law."
"You already are his brother in law." I state simply as I look on at Lilac and Brad trying to calm Coral and Jay down. "Oh yeah... I am. Is that even legal, for brother in laws to marry their sister in laws?" Sebastian asks quietly. The alarm on our desk goes off. Sebastian plops Trent into my arms smugly. "You're turn." Sebastian snidely remarks. I grumble as I push him forward. "Go break that up. I won't have fighting in my building."
"Your building?" I only smile smugly and turn to sit down at the desk. "Oh... And Sebastian..." My lovely husband turns around to look at me again. "I love you." He smiles and chuckles softly.
"I love you, too."
