"Okay, I think everyone is asleep now. It's time to speak to 'The Four'." Jasper said to himself as he walked around a dark space. There was nothing around him, just the conscience. He snapped his fingers and was moved to another spot in the darkness. "Okay, no one has dreamt anything yet." he said.
He walked around in the darkness, "The Spirits told me to be careful about 'The Four' but what is there to be careful of? I am just giving them news. How hard can it be?"
He saw something red shining from up ahead. "It looks like someone is here." He got closer and saw a cat with a red pelt. Its fur was flickering brightly. He continued to walk toward it.
"Hello there." he meowed, calmly.
"Ahh!" they yelled, in surprise. Suddenly, a fireball shot from their paws and headed straight for him.
"Whoa!" he shouted, ducking to avoid it.
"Who are you?" the cat growled. She held her paws up, ready to throw another one his way.
"Calm down, I'm not here to hurt anyone! I just need to talk to you... May I ask who you are?"
She just stared at him, angrily. "Please don't attack me." he gulped.
"Sapphire." she said, irritably.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Sapphire. I just wanted to tell you about a journey and ask you if you can help." he said, relieved that she had finally put away the fireball.
"Help? Adventure? What's that about?" she meowed, inquisitively.
"I can't explain much now, but meet me on the hill, not too far from your cave and I will explain some more. I can't explain anything now because this is a dream." he bit his lip, waiting for a response.
"Alright then." she said, finally.
"I must be going now but I will meet you there." and before she could say anything else, he disappeared from her sight.
"Phew! That was close! I have to be more cautious."
Suddenly, he saw something else and before he could react, it hit him in the face. It hit the ground in little droplets.
'What is this?' he thought. He coughed and rubbed his eyes, trying to clear them. Once he regained his sight, he saw a blue figure standing in front of him. It appeared to be preparing to throw something else.
"Calm down, calm down." Jasper said. It seemed to be a blue cat standing in front of him. It looked at him through narrowed eyes.
"What are you doing in my mind?! I don't know you and you appeared out of nowhere!" The cat growled. His voice was strong and commanding.
"I'm sorry, I only came here to tell you something. I need help with a quest." Jasper meowed.
"What for?" he asked.
"That I can't explain right now but I can explain further if you go to the hill on the East side of your territory. It's not too far."
"If you need help, I guess I'll go." the blue cat replied.
"Perfect, I'll meet you there."
Jasper quickly snapped his fingers and appeared in a different place. 'First, I nearly got hit with fire and now I got hit with water. Great!' he thought, sarcastically. This time, he noticed he was in a forest. "Well, this isn't too bad. It looks like this one has been dreaming. Maybe this will be easier."
He saw a brown cat walking around in the distance. They seemed to be looking for something. Jasper walked over, but it wasn't too long before they noticed him there. Vines quickly rose from the ground behind them. Jasper stood there in shock as the cat started directing the vines at him. He moved around, ducking and dodging just trying to avoid them. He thought at first that they were harmless, he thought wrong.
He tripped and before he knew it, he was tied up to a tree by the vines. "Who ar-are you and what are you doing in my d-dream?" the cat stuttered. He was obviously scared.
"There is no need to be scared. I just want to tell you something important. You are obviously talented and your abilities will be very useful." Jasper complimented him, looking at the vines.
"Something very important? Thank you... how do you know about them?" the cat asked.
"I was told about these abilities from someone wise." he continued to look at the vines, "Can you please help me down?"
"Oh... sorry." The cat walked over and tore through the vines. Jasper fell, landing on his feet.
"Now, what is there to say? Do you know where my abilities came from? What's this important thing you have to tell me?" The cat's tone was now curious. He was no longer scared.
"Well, I can't discuss your abilities now, but there is a quest I want you to go on." Jasper said.
"A quest? I'm not too sure about that." The brown cat looked at the ground. He wasn't going to make a decision right now.
"It will help you and I really need help." Jasper meowed again.
"But what is it for?" The cat asked looking up.
"I can't explain here. You're currently dreaming. Go to the hill, you can see it from your cave. I will explain there..."
"Okay." the cat meowed.
Jasper disappeared once again and reappeared in another spot of the dark space.
He let out a sigh of relief. He looked up to see a whitish-grey, long-haired cat standing in front of him. Suddenly, the cat sneezed and a gust of wind knocked him over. Jasper looked up to see the cat walking toward him.
He tried to crawl away, "Please don't hurt me!" he said, quickly as the cat grew closer. They stood there, staring at Jasper with their head tilted to one side.
"Hurt you? I would never hurt you. Don't be scared, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to knock you over." she meowed, calmly.
She helped him to his paws. "Sorry, my abilities are sometimes uncontrollable.".
"No, it's fine." he meowed, as he got to his paws. 'My night dream adventure has been just great...' he thought, sarcastically.
"But why are you here in my dream? Why are you even in my head?" Her purple eyes shone as she looked at him.
"I have some news. It's actually quite important." he said, taking this opportunity to get right to the point.
"Oh? What is it?" she asked, curiously.
"A journey and there is trouble. I'm worried about what is to come but I can't say much here." Jasper said. He finally felt safe because he wasn't going to be attacked for once.
"Oh, I'll help you for sure. But why can't you tell me here?"
"You won't believe me and it's really important. I will explain on the hill near your cave."
"Oh, alright then. See you there." she said.
Misty lifted her head as soon as the spirit disappeared. Tons of thoughts were going through her mind. 'Was this a chance to finally meet a friend? What is this journey about? Was everything going to be alright?'
She collected herself and got her mind straight. "They clearly need my help. They may be in trouble. I will keep to my promise." she said to herself...

"I will be there."
