"I am gonna be alright Miara" I say while my best friend hugs the living hell out of me. (What's that? Who is Miara? She is me lol)

"I know I know! I am just going to miss you so much! I can't believe you got into Ninjago university! It is practically impossible to do that. Damn I am so proud of you Libby. This is gonna be such a cool new experience for you. And who knows...you might meet a guy." God this girl. She's been trying to set me up for so long. I feel so bad for her that I did not like any of her choices. Oops.

"Miara I am not looking for a boy right now. I just want to focus on my studies." I giggle feeling Miara hug me tighter.

I soon push her off and wave goodbye to her while walking into the airport, right in time for the final boarding call. I glanced at my ticket while looking at the overhead signs on the seats, finding my own. When I did, I sat on my seat and put on my own earphones while picking a movie. What to watch-

I felt a tap on my shoulder. My head jerked up to be met with a pair of gorgeous amber eyes. I slip my earphones down, wrapping them around my neck. "Yes?" I question the boy.

"That's my seat. May I?" He said, pointing to the empty seat beside me. I pull my legs back, giving the boy space to walk. He plopped down and murmured a thanks to which I replied with a smile.

I got a good look at him. He had spikey brown hair and a gorgeous tan. He must have been pretty athletic because I could see the outline of his muscles through his red jersey. His eyes were a unique amber colour and it perfectly fit his face structure. He had a defined jawline and a constant smirk on his face. Cocky much?

"I'm Kai by the way." He said while looking at me for a quick second before bringing his attention back to his phone."Libby" I replied extending a hand out for him to shake. He smiled at me and placed his warm hand in mine. "So where are you off to Kai?" I ask. What? I am just curious.

"Going to college. Getting into Ninjago university is a dream come true. I can't believe it is actually happening." he spoke with such happiness in his eyes, I couldn't help but smile. "I got into NU too!" I say chirpily.

"Who knows we might have some classes together." Kai said diverting his attention back to his phone, thankfully, otherwise he would have noticed my blush.

We talked throughout the flight, of our interests, our likes and dislikes. He even told me the story of how he got a scar over his eye. I thought it made him look hotter.

"Please fasten your seatbelts for landing." one of the flight attendants told us and we did as instructed.

Walking into a new place brought all kinds of exciting thoughts to my head. I could explore so many different places. I could make so many friends.

Sadly Kai and I got separated after getting off the plane. Damn did I wanna spend more time with him.

I felt a tap on my left shoulder and turned my head to the side. But there was nobody there. Maybe someone is on my right...

I turn my head to the right and see Kai. Before I could do anything, he grabbed the back of my head and pulled me into a quick peck. My lips tingled where his touched mine.

"Wanna grab a coffee sometime? It'll be on me." Wait is he asking me out on a date. I blush furiously. "No better was to get to know you more right?" He said while lacing his fingers in mine. God such a cutie.

"Coffee sounds good. Though first I need to check my schedule." I say mock thinking. He laughed heartily.

I guess my main focus isn't studies now.
