Chapter 10: Shift

"Mama, hold my hand please" Little Victoria grinned and I couldn't help myself but to smile at her

"Sure baby, where's Celeste and Dawn?" I asked and she frowned resulting me to smile

"They went to play without me so I was thinking to play with Mama" She smiled showing me her toothy grin

"Oh my, if my cute little Victoria wants to then what should we play?"

I crouched down and wiped the sweat on her forehead

"I wanna play house, of course, Mama will be the Mommy and I will be the Daddy"

She smiled and ran to take something when she came back she was holding Natasha's tie

"Honey, help me put on my tie!"

She waved the tie around and I took it then put it around her neck properly

"Does it look pretty? Do I look good enough to protect Mama?" She asked which made me laugh

"My little vampire, you always look good to me" I pinched her cheeks resulting her to giggle

"Mama, I love you" Victoria gave me a gummy smile

"I love you too"

When I opened my eyes, Reine was blushing furiously

"Y-You just said I love you too" She stammered and I gave her an apologetic smile

"I'm sorry, I was dreaming about Victoria" I mumbled

"Oh, it's fine" She mumbled and took something from outside then came back with a tray of foods

"That looks delicious, did my daughters eat yet?" I asked while eyeing the food

"Yup, they ate as soon as I arrived" She chuckled and looked around the master's bedroom

"Uhm this is the chicken that my Mom made for you and dessert" She winked resulting me to smile

"Ah finally! I managed to lift your sour mood" She put a cute little table in front of me and there she placed the foods

When I was about to take the spoon, she beat me to it and tried to feed me

"Reine, have you eaten?" I asked and she blushed in return

Eh? The Reine Finley is blushing?

"It doesn't matter, come on open up" I had no choice but to accept she fed me

"Mmm it is delicious, your Mom is the best"

I moaned at how delicious it is and noticed that Reine was looking away and fidgeting, I wonder what's wrong...

"D-Don't do that" She mumbled and I stared at her confused

"Don't do what?" I asked and she cleared her throat

"Nothing! Here try the cupcake I made" Reine practically shoved a whole cupcake in my mouth

But it's really delicious tho

I then heard a knock on the door and saw my daughters 

"Mama, a servant of Mothers came to check" Dawn mumbled and I furrowed my brows

"Did they at least bring Victoria with them?" I asked hopefully

Celeste shook her head and Reine rubbed my back to calm me down

"Reine could you scare that servant away? Your wolf is terrifying and adorable at the same time"

She immediately got up and smiled

"Of course, anything for my mate" She grinned and the room went silent

"Mate?" I asked surprise

"Hello, I'm Hena and it's nice meeting you mate"
