Chapter 24: It's Time to Say Goodbye

Reine POV

It's all like slow motion, when I heard the gunshot I turned to that side and I couldn't believe my eyes

I shifted back and tried to run after her

"Y-Y/n-"

"Die!" I turned to my right and was met by Anastasia smirking at me

She then chuckled and penetrated my abdomen with her hand and I saw a lot of blood

"This is the end for you-"

"Shut up!" I pushed her forcefully resulting her to stumble backward and I hissed in pain

"Mama!" Victoria ran after Y/n and Anastasia's gaze turned to Y/n

"No, no... Y/n!" She shouted and was about to run when Pysche came behind her and slammed her on the ground

I quickly shifted and ran towards my mate, Hena was howling in anger and when I got there I saw Eris laughing with a gun in her hand

"Humans are weaklings" She mumbled and I launched at her then pinned her on the ground

"She's dead! It's not like you can do anything to revive her-"

Before she could finish I bit her shoulder and ripped her arms, Victoria pushed me all of a sudden and punched her lover while crying

"You fucking bitch! I trusted you!" Victoria cried and I whimpered and came towards my mate

Celeste was crying and tried to wake Y/n up, I shifted back and held Y/n in my arms

"No, wake up. Y/n" I cried out and the werewolves howled at my cries

"My pups, no! You must wake up!" I shed more tears and I buried my face on her neck

3rd Person POV

Victoria stood up and stared at her dead lover, she then collapsed and cried hard

Natasha and Nadia was busy killing their ex mates, they were trained so they're hard to kill

"Go die, Natasha!" Her ex-mate shouted and slammed a rock on Natasha's head resulting Natasha to fall to the ground

Bleeding and broken

Nadia was huffing as she held her injured shoulders, her ex-mate was deadly at the point that Nadia couldn't escape her

"Fucking bitch, let me through" Nadia shed a tear and tried to go but was attacked by her ex-mate again

"Mama, wake up! We're winning so please wake up"

Victoria cried while holding Y/n's hands, Y/n was barely breathing and she was shot two times

In the stomach and the chest

Celeste and Dawn cried quietly while holding the pups into safety

"I can't..." Y/n mumbled with tears falling on her cheeks and Reine cried while covering the blood

Y/n has lost too much blood

I'm really sorry Reine but it's time to say goodbye

"You still haven't given birth to our pups, so please" Reine begged while covering the wound with her cloth

"I-I got clean gauze and some medicine. We can still help M-Mama"

Victoria stammered while her hands were trembling while taking out the medications, when Reine turned around she saw Eris smirking while pointing the gun at Victoria

"It was nice having sex with you Victoria" Eris giggled and pulled the trigger

Dawn, was mad she took the quicksilver gun and ran behind Eris and pointed at her heart

"Die" Dawn muttered and pulled the trigger

Eris cold body fell on the floor and Dawn dropped the gun, the war was slowly ending-

"Reine!" Celeste shouted and Reine was hugging Victoria from behind

Victoria turned around and held both of Reine's shoulder

"Why did you take a fucking bullet for me?!" Victoria shouted mad but all Reine could hear was faint noises

"I'm dizzy, Vic. Where's my mate?" Reine asked her eyes slightly closing

"Mama! Victoria she's not breathing! MAMA IS NOT BREATHING!"

Celeste shouted and the war stopped, all eyes were on them

"I-I want to be with Y/n, please" Reine sobbed and Victoria slowly placed Reine beside her Mama

"I'll follow you, even if it means me dying" Reine whispered and touched Y/n's belly

"I'm sorry my pups, but Mommy and Mama has to go"

Those were Reine's last words before closing her eyes

Forever

Painful howls were heard and the three royal vampires sat they're frozen, they couldn't move

The one she loves so much was now gone, Dawn sat there with tears streaming on her cheeks

Celeste was crying along with the pups and lastly, Victoria couldn't accept the truth

"W-We can still save them, Celeste help me! Let's go!"

Victoria shouted but Celeste just stared at Victoria with hopeless eyes

"Vic, let Mama rest" That was Dawn all could say and Victoria slapped her out of anger

"No! Mama is alive! Don't lose hope, Dawn!" Victoria shouted mad

"Victoria! Mama has lost a lot of blood and Reine was shot at the vital point! Just, please! Please let them rest"

Celeste cried out and Victoria was just holding her Mama's hand

"I'm sorry, Mama. Please forgive me"
