INTRUDER
Raya giggled as Lixian carried him on his shoulder, playfully holding him by the thigh as he walked into the house. Carefully laying him down onto the animal rug, grabbing a blanket as he went to lay down behind him.
He reached over the human to let the flames grow and warm the two up, nestling himself against the naked back of his mate. Raya hummed in delight as the warmth of the fire met his skin at the same time Lixian held him close, turning around to hug his lover as the new expirience of skin on skin contact made his belly tingle.
"You think that hunter would've done something if you were not there with me?" Raya asked after a few silent minutes of cuddling, that creepy hunter still present in his mind. He never got visitors, so he couldn't just forget about that man so easily. Also because he acted... a little too strange for his liking.
Lixian hummed lowly at that. "I would like to think he wouldn't, but... I'm not sure, to be honest." He confessed, slowly littering the skin of Raya's shoulder with soft kisses.
"I'm glad you're here." Raya smiled, turning his head so he could look at the creature's face. "I'm glad I found you."
Lixian grinned, slowly pecking those soft lips as his hand traced down the human's stomach. Raya's breath faltered a little when he felt those fingertips caress over his pelvis, the untouched skin causing his stomach to flip at the unfamiliar feeling of being touched there. The demon only smiled while absorbing the soft intakes of breaths from his lover's lips, meanwhile his fingertips slowly followed over the little happy trail he knew was there down below before they found their way back towards Raya's hip and up.
The human fluttered open his eyes when a hand slowly cupped his cheek, the soft gesture causing his cheeks to redden as Lixian scrunched his nose in a cute way. "I love you all flustered." He whispered softly, a stupid grin playing on his lips while his jet-black eyes took in the boy underneath him.
"I don't, I probably look like a tomato." Raya grumbled out, facing away.
"More like a ripe peach." The demon joked before leaning down to nuzzle the human's exposed neck playfully.
Raya chuckled as he pushed the tickling lips away from him, his smile softening as his fingers softly traced over the creature's face. He couldn't get over the fact of how close they'd gotten over the past few weeks. It was something he never thought he would've gotten to experience, but here he was, cozy and in love with a demon. A man. Such a beautiful man.
His thumb slowly brushed over the said demon's lips as his eyes flickered between those dark orbs watching him. "Your scars looked pretty good, hm? Healed up pretty nicely." Raya softly said.
"Got a great doctor that helped me out." Lixian responded, nuzzling into the palm of one hand.
"Yeah? Got to keep those close, ey? Never know when you need em." Raya smiled, jokingly talking with a somewhat weird accent he heard people use in town.
"True." Lixian played along, nodding with a playful frown. "Maybe I should just lock you up and keep you all to myself?"
"I feel like you would do that regardless." The human chuckled, breaking character.
"Whatever." Lixian smiled widely, leaning down to capture those lips to shut him up.
A sudden thud outside made the demon jolt and break the kiss quickly, his sensitive hearing now alert, but nothing out of the ordinary followed. Raya frowned in concern, his hands slipping from Lixian's face so he could lean onto his elbows to listen as well. "What's wrong? What do you hear?"
"I just..." Lixian tilted his head for a second, still concentrated. "I just thought I heard something outside." He whispered.
"I'm sure it's nothing, or an animal." Raya assured, but even he felt like something was wrong. Lixian quickly, but quietly, grabbed his pants from the pile of clothes next to them to put on. Going to investigate.
Raya sat up and followed his lead in pulling on a pants, his eyes never leaving his lover's figure as he peeked through the blinds outside. "Do you see something?" He whispered nervously as he was squatted down by the fireplace.
"Maybe." Lixian hummed, squinting his eyes as they flashed red. "Stay where you are." He ordered softly before slipping through the backdoor outside.
Raya softly whimpered at seeing him leave, but did as he was asked and stayed low by the fire. Eyes darting around for any sudden movements.
Lixian lowered himself down onto the ground and crawled through the bushes to see what he had seen was actually there. He wasn't sure, but if it was what he think it was, then they were in big trouble. And he wasn't talking about Raya and him.
He heard the hushed whispers before he even saw them, hiding behind some trees while clicking sounds could be heard. Some kind of metallic scraping. Lixian let his demon senses take over before pulling himself up and steadily crouching down his way to the three men. He eyed the one furthest away from them and sneaked behind him, almost inhumanly fast grabbing the man by the neck to pull him away, his hand covering his mouth to silence him.
He broke his neck in one, swift movement and carefully laid him down onto the ground. "Asfi ra mashda." (Sleep now). He whispered in his tongue before eying his next target.
He crawled back towards them, but a sudden snap of a branch made both men snap their heads in his direction. Lixian widened his eyes before avoiding a bulled that flew just past his head as he hid behind a tree, the loud bang shocking him to the core.
"It's here!" One screamed, more shots flying his way as he ducked down to safe himself. Lixian freaked out as he heard one running away from them and towards the house, immediatily causing his heart to drop down in fear.
Raya!
