Chia wandered from the Ravenclaw common room wearing only her socks, ravenclaw jumper and old nike shorts she had stolen from her mother before she left.

She wasn't dressed to impress, nor was she intending to make Fred feel anyway towards her. She was upset at him, his words hurt her, as it would with anyone else.

The walk to the astronomy tower seemed much too quick for somebody intending to be late. As if she had ran there and not spent minutes finding the chips in the brick oddly interesting.

Pushing open the single door, much too loud and announcing for anybody's liking, Chia entered the concrete of the tower.

Her eyes wandered before setting on the boy she hadn't wished to see, hoping he had left already, assuming he had been stood up. Leaning against the fence, he stayed at the ledge.

Not saying a word, she strolled over, finishing by when she stood beside the boy, copying his actions.

Her senses seemed high, every brush of their arms sending her goosebumps, flys that buzzed next to her ear seeming louder than they once had.

It felt odd for the girl to be there, she didn't want to yet she felt pulled in by his presence. By no means did she feel guilty for ignoring him, but there was a certain sadness of which lingered around the two.

The silence spoke a lot, both their breathing heavy through the cold air. Both equally hurt by the same persons actions.

Chia was not short, not at all. Considered tall by most it was strange for her to feel the way she did. However, next to Fred, Chia felt a certain stretch of innocence, as if Fred was there to protect that. She hated it.

"I don't know what to say to you," Fred muttered, eyes never leaving the pit of stars which were directly infront of the pair, "I know what I've done wrong but there's no way to explain my actions."

Staying silent, Chia let the boy talk, she didn't want to interrupt, it wasn't fair.

"It was wrong, really fucking wrong. There's no way to come back from what I did. I can't make what I did right. I said stuff I didn't mean but you can't do that, it's not fair," he continued, a certain gloss beginning to coat his eyes as he spoke, "there was nothing you did wrong, you didn't provoke anything. You did it all perfect, you were too goo, too forgiving and I fucked that up. I threw it away like it was nothing at all.

I feel awful, guilty, because I am. I am guilty. I said it, it came from my mouth."

The silence again was never ending, seeming like hours as the wind whistled around them.

"Fuck I shouldn't be here, I don't deserve it."

With that, Fred pushed himself from the metal railing, a tear down his left cheek as he refused to look at the girl. Walking towards the door and letting it close behind him.

Neither of the two slept that night.
