Marriages are an auspicious occasion UNTIL THE BRIDE OR BRIDEGROOM DOESN'T ELOPE AWAY WITH SOMEONE ELSE !!
we see western style marriages and even many traditional type of Asian marriages . But there's something different about Indian marriages , something spicy you know !
It is usually kind of festival and the rituals take four days !!!! But the preparations start from months before !!!
Let's leave the rituals , it's complicated rituals of Hinduism , go and search on Google if you're interested to know about the rituals.
For people like me , food is the main attraction in marriages. We wear ethnic and traditional dresses , most prominent is sari .
Here also we have bridesmaid and groomsmen but it's somewhat different.
Since it's a family occasion so the presence of relatives is mandatory.
Here , comes the judgmental group of people! They will check you out first , comment on how much healthy or ugly you have become , for me it always happens.
Then they will keep on saying I am also becoming older , my marriage is also coming soon! Bloody hell!!!!
I seriously hate this like they keep on jabbering stuff about others!
Next comes the "pretty little romance" ....I guess you can guess what I am trying to say , yes ! I am talking about the 5 -10 minutes romance and flirting between the teens present there !! ( Well I did this , it's fun until an awkward boy starts staring at you all the time !)
The lighting, decoration, flowers and the vibe is awesome ! Feels like a festival & damn those nice good looking good seducing me to touch them and eat them ! Hahaha
After it's over, Everyone feels a little sad , but anyways we wish a great life for the new couple.
Here are some pics, take a look
