ANGEL'S BLOOD AND GODS POWER

CHAPTER ONE

Jace POV

Jace ran through the forest, dodging trees and ducking under branches. Alec and Julian were behind him. A few weeks ago, the New York Institute received a huge flare of necromantic energy, far greater than what they had experienced.

Emma and Julian offered to help, and hence portaled to the New York Institute. While patrolling the city, Jace and Alec spotted a dragonidae demon. Julian rushed with them and they began following the demon. Jace was stunned by the sheer size of it. It was huge, almost 30 feet tall, and he was sure it was going to take all of their strength to defeat it.

A grunt from his right prodded him to glance in that direction. Julian pointed towards the demon, and then towards the trees. Jace grinned.

"Go ahead" He shouted, because of the wind. Alec and Jace split off, moving to each side of the dragonidae. Julian leaped onto the tree and took out his crossbow aiming for the soft flesh inbetween the hard armor.

Jace counted till 3, and as soon as they neared the demon, he shouted "NOW!!!"

Julian took aim, and shot, the runed arrow hitting it's mark perfectly. Unfortunately for The 3, things started getting a little interesting as they lose sight of the demon.

Percy POV

"Capture the flag" Had begun. Percy stood near the stream, ready to defend with his sword, Riptide, and with his power over water. Just as Clarisse neared him, trying to push through his defence, blood-curdling roar sounded from the other side of the stream. It was very much NOT human.

"Clarisse, call everyone!!! We need to go towards that sound" Percy said.

Clarisse nodded and shouted.

"EVERYONE!!!! GAME'S OVER!!!"

Annabeth, Jason, Nico, Piper and Will rushed from behind Clarisse.

"What...?" Jason began. He didn't have to end that sentence.

A 30 foot tall monster lumbered out of the woods and faced them. It almost looked like a drakon, but Percy knew it was different. It's razor sharp teeth glittered in the sun.

"Someone, get Chiron to come here" Annabeth murmured. Will nodded, and slowly backed away, careful not to alarm the monster. Useless.

The monster turned to face Percy and roared. He sighed. "Dam.. Looks like we need to kill it quickly"

Everyone grinned, and they charged.

Percy slashed at the Monster's neck, but it didn't do anything. Annabeth tried to stab it in between the armor. Blood splattered all over her. She succeeded, but immediately screamed.

"Annabeth!!" Percy shouted, rushing to her side.

"I.. I'm ok Percy.. Really. It's blood just... Burns? It's almost like acid. I need to wash off quickly"

Nico tried to keep it engaged while Clarisse stabbed it in multiple areas, but the monster just wouldn't disappear. Jason rose in the air, and struck the monster with a bolt of lightening. The monster didn't Disentigrate into powder, but it burnt away some of the armor.

"Clarisse and Percy!!! Strike the skin!!!" Jason yelled.

Just as Percy and Clarisse tried to stab the monster, a glowing white knife struck it. Percy was shocked as the monster, did not Disentigrate into dust, but vanished into thin air.

A rustle sounded in the bush. Percy and his friends stiffened, holding their weapons tightly.

"Woah there!!! Easy kids!! We just killed that dragonidae demon!!!" A loud voice said. Percy squinted at the bush, and backed away as 2 men and a boy his age emerged from the bush.
