Laurie and Maura talks about having an older woman who does not like Donny Osmond since her father forbids her. She was headed to the mill with Jim Croce singing "Operator" on the radio, but changed to Ricky Skaggs' "He was on to Something."
At the mill, Scott, Dave, Wade and Tim heard Jim's "I'll Have To Say I Love You In A Song" on the record as did Gordon Lightfoot's "If You Could Read My Mind."
Laurie's relationship was so powerful about her dreams and life with Tim. Nolan and Marva Lynn came by the next morning about Laurie's stay at home job, and she said she still loves Tim.
