Shantae then nods to Rayman and prepares to begin her mystical belly dance moves, she begins to glow light blue as she dances, Rayman watches and also wanted to dance as well, but he decided not to just in case. She finally finishes her transformation and it was a turtle-like creature. Rayman didn't know what to make of it and Shantae then tells to rayman. "well... How do I look?" Rayman replies with. "A turtle. You look like a turtle." Shantae then looks down at her and she was standing upright considering she is a turtle. She was a purple turtle to match her color and she had a shell of course and her golden head band was still there, obviously her hair was gone since she is a turtle creature.

Shantae then thinks through all the mystical creatures that she knows of and she comes up with a conclusion and tells Rayman. "I think i'm a kappa. Not a bad choice of creature if you ask me. More like a defensive tank-like aquatic creature opposed to my swift mermaid form. What do you think?" Rayman then shouts. "Yeah!" With a fist in the air as he likes the form with a lot of enthusiasm. Shantae then smiles and giggles slightly at Rayman's reaction. With that, they continue through the labyrinth past the fountain and find a underwater passage way to transverse through, Shantae dives in with Rayman following her. They find a cracked wall, Shantae then has an idea and try to break through the wall with the kappa form. She goes into her shell and Rayman decides to swing around his fist and punches her and that gives her enough momentum to break through the cracked wall.

After the passage way is cleared through, they see a giant door and they assumed that it must be the boss chamber through that door. Unfortunately, the door is locked and Shantae has a disappointed look, "well, looks like we cannot go through this yet, bummer. Let's go back and find the boss key." Rayman wouldn't accept that and transformed into his water form and shoots powerful jets of water at the door and rusts the lock away, it opens up and Shantae is astounded. She then congratulates Rayman for opening the door himself and they went inside.
