Shantae backs away from the mummy creature slowly and Rayman just has a confused look. Rayman knows that the mummy is an enemy but he doesn't know why Shantae is so intimidated by it.

Shantae then scolds at the stumped limbless thing. "Don't just stand there... Help me deal with this creepy mummy!" Rayman nods and walk towards the mummy and notices that he's not doing anything else. He pokes at him and nothing, Shantae cautions Rayman. "Don't provoke him, I got a bad feeling about him."

Rayman says curiously. "But why? He's not doing anything since he got out of his sarcophagus." Shantae sweatdrops and walks towards the mummy still having that bad feeling in her gut. Rayman is carefree at this point and gives the mummy a kick which gets Shantae to back up a bit.

Still, the mummy hasn't done anything but stand there like a robot. Shantae sighs with relief and says to Rayman. "Ok... I'm going to copy down what's on the epitaph while you keep an eye on this mummy to make sure he won't do anything like you said."

Rayman nods and Shantae walks towards the epitaph and scribbles down what's carved into it on a sheet of paper. Rayman does what he's instructed and watches the mummy. Just for the heck of it, Rayman gives him one more poke. Out of nowhere, the mummy springs into action and charges for Shantae with blinding speed.

Rayman couldn't react fast enough and the mummy get a hold of Shantae and ... Spanks her. Rayman is speechless to say the least and just gawks in awe as the mummy spanks Shantae relentlessly. After a bit, the mummy springs back to where he was as Shantae rubs her sore behind.

Rayman had no words to say on what just happened and neither did Shantae, all she had was a horrified and angered look on her face. Rayman finally says something. "Well ... I now know that your judgement on this mummy was correct."

Shantae didn't say anything but instead kicks the mummy as hard as she could right back into his sarcophagus and it explodes. Shantae picks up her dropped paper and faces Rayman. "I've already finished copying the epitaph. Do not mention this incident with anyone, understand?"

Rayman nods. "I'm just glad it didn't get me." Shantae just glares at Rayman and he takes back what he says. "Sorry, i'm done talking about it now." Shantae nods. "Good, now let's get out of here." With that, Shantae and Rayman heads out of the crypt and head back in daylight to meet up with Rottytops and her brothers that were waiting for them, they had a special present for them.
