What is normal?

Is normal the tall skinny girl that walks her little dog down the road?

Or the muscular man that plays football and has a cheerleader as a girlfriend?

Maybe it's that boy and girl over there holding hands?

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't

But I want to know, who came up with these standards of what's "normal"

Because in my mind,

That girl who's a bit short, and a bit overweight, who likes to play video games and draw, is normal.

the skinny boy who would rather stay inside and write poetry and act is the norm.

Or those two boys over there that are too shy to show everyone that they love each other in fear of being hated or being called freaks.

So, what is normal? Who decides what normal is? And how can we change it?

I'm fed up with this world and their standards of "normal"

I want a world where "weird" or "freak" is one of the highest complements you can give someone, and "normal" is the new freak. Next time someone calls you "weird" or "freak" just think,

"Weird is just refusing to be a copy of everyone else, freak is just not conforming to someone else's idea of normal. This is your life, this is who you are, be proud, be strong, be you."
