Aizawa's POV:
After having evaded sleep for nearly four days straight, I was flipping through a case file I had borrowed (without permission) from Tsukauchi. It was about a man named Akio Federov who owned an oil magnate with a sketchy background and a ton of skeletons in his closet. He has sent the best intelligence agencies of the world on a run for their money for the past 25 years or so.
According to the little information that we have about his 'illegal' activities, it seems as though he holds auctions in secrecy for the world's richest 1%. While auctioning is not exactly illegal in and of itself, it is when the objects on sale are 'stolen', 'exotic' and 'unregistered'. Allegedly, even a lost treasure, "The Kohinoor" was sold through this Federov guy.
What interests me about this particular scumbag is that the list doesn't end with auctioning. He is also suspected of running drug rings, gambling dens and what not. I can't wait to put him behind bars. And that's what we're about to do in three days time.
Haah, I need at least 13 mugs of coffee for this...
The Russian Hero Association relayed a message a week ago about how they received intel from their undercover agents that Federov was planning on holding an auction here in Japan and requested our co-operation in prosecuting him.
Of course we agreed and so a team was immediately assembled and briefed about how this bastard was wanted all around the world. In the end, it was decided that the pro heroes assigned to this operation would be All Might, Present Mic, Hawks, Midnight, Snipe, Power Loader, Vlad King, Ectoplasm, Cementoss and me. We would later be divided into 3 teams of three, each of us with our own unit of officers to aid us with arrests. Oh right, I forgot about Tsukauchi, he's coming too.
A voice pulled me out of my thought process,
"Going through my files again, Eraser?"
"Ah, Tsukauchi. Sorry 'bout that", I replied with a tired slur and eyes that basically said 'I'm done'.
"No problem, but be sure to get some rest before the raid. You'll need it. This guy is gonna be quite a handful."
"Yeah, I noticed. Well then, I'll be heading home, Detective."
"Good night, Aizawa."
