"Hmm," I groaned as the music of my phone alarm echoed loudly through my bedroom. As I struggled to move, an aching pain that moved down my spine made me realize I fell asleep against the bed frame with no pillows.

I tried to roll over to get an extra 5 minutes of sleep and I realized I tumbled with my face into an open bag of hot Cheetos dust. "So far, my 5 minutes of extra rest." I cussed at myself as I got rid of my blanket and stood up.

"Mental note to myself: smoking on school days wasn't a good idea."

Gently, I stretched my back and yawned as I observed myself in the bathroom mirror. Sleep deprivation was all over my face. Never did I look so drained and sloppy as today.

"Oh well, nothing a semi-cold shower and make-up couldn't resolve," I rambled to myself as I opened the shower cabinet and let the crystal cool water run all over my naked body.

Fifteen minutes thereafter, I wrapped myself in a big towel, dried, and straightened my hair until it looked sleek again. I picked a new uniform out of my room's wardrobe since the old one was all wrinkly because I threw it on the floor.

When I finally got dressed, I picked up my make-up bag and added some primer, foundation, and brown eyeshadow for a natural look that would hide my tiredness.

An enormous sigh escaped my lips as I stepped down the stairs on my way to the kitchen. It was only 2 days until test week was over. Never did I ever called for the weekend so bad as now.

I was almost getting a mental breakdown from all the extra information I forced myself to study in the last couple of days.

When I showed up in the kitchen, I looked at my dad sitting at the dinner table forming circles on the newspaper with a red marker.

"Any luck?" I asked him curiously as I sat down on a chair and picked myself some toast and buttered it. "Not yet. All these corporations prefer younger folks these days," he mumbled, dissatisfied as he closed the newspaper and stood up walking to the counter.

"What about you? How's your test week going?" He asked as he got back to the table and poured some fresh chocolate milk into my mug. "It's surely tiring to learn so much in such a short time. I'm not confident if it's going to be great like always." I exhaled sadly as I took a bite of the crunchy toast.

"I can always make a call to the principal," he offered, but I just shook my head.
"No, it will be... Great... Don't Worry. I learned most of it last year in my former school. I'm probably overreacting." I tried to comfort him with a soft smile as I took a sip from my cup.

When I was ready with breakfast, I walked to my dad and gave him a big hug. "It's time to leave for school." I pointed at the clock on the kitchen wall. "See you later, and good luck with job hunting, dad!" I shouted as I picked up my backpack and fled to the hall. " Bye y/n, good luck with your tests today. You can do it !"

Timeskip to class:

I slid open the wooden class-door, my eyes felt on Suki-Chan and Kuroo being close and clingy again. "Good morning love birds," I chuckled as a joke. Suki her face turned crimson. Somehow I felt happy that he appeared to have an interest in her, but somehow I was still pondering about that one morning.

The way how he aggressively bumped into my friend Haru that one morning made me slightly cautious around him.

As I settled down in my chair, I glanced at Kozume who was slouched in his chair next to me. I was slightly amused at how he was so consumed playing his switch. Sometimes his "I don't give a fuck" attitude made me a little jealous. How could he be so relaxed knowing that every minute our tests are going to happen?

Suddenly the school bell interrupted my opinions, and the professor walked in instructing us to pick out our pencils and papers.

This entire morning felt like hell. When I was ready with the second test I laid my head resting against the cool desk, hoping it would take away the throbbing in my brain. My eyelids became heavy and without even noticing I fell asleep until the bell rang.

"Are you okay?" Suki-chan asked with a concerned face as I pulled up my head with a frown not knowing what happened. "Uh, yes... sure... I think I fell... asleep?" I mumbled.
"Let's go and have lunch," She replied while she roughly ruffled my hair with her fingers.
