Thrainduil x reader

Thrainduil had been looking for you, he had ordered the guards hours ago to take you to the garden for a surprise, but when they failed to find you... he began to worry. Not just worry but become a wreak, you meant everything to him, you where and are his reason for living. He paused all meetings until further notice, he didn't know how long it would take to find you. And to be honest he didn't care, he couldn't do any of those things without you.. at least not anymore.

He ordered for his reindeer to be easy for him immediately, he would lead the search party, he wanted to be there when you were found. He would never leave you alone again, he lost his first wife, he wasn't about to lose you as well.

That was for damn sure, he would not stop until you were found. Not many found him a caring and loving person, but you saw behind the mask as it were. You saw him for who he truly was, who he could truly be. Little did he know, you were perfectly fine walking around. You accidentally walked outside of the palace forest and into the main forest. Which wasn't quite a bad thing at the moment as there was really no danger, because of the guards on patrol. But with the guards on patrol, they have no way of letting him know that she was there, nor did they realize that he was looking for you.

One finishing with the main perimeter of the inside of the palace he decided to branch out just a little bit, maybe by some chance you have forgotten the limits to the palace He hoped that it was that way, that was the only outcome he would accept.. The one where you were alive and well, otherwise.... Otherwise he didn't know what he would do just yet.

And that's when he spotted you, Way far away from the palace borders, seeming to be picking flowers and other various things and putting them in a basket. Things you picked up from the healer elves no doubt, he didn't mind that much, as long as you never left the palace without an escort, or him.

He approached you with his reindeer, " My love.. Why did you come all the way out here without telling someone... you could have been hurt.. Or worse.. " he paused at the dreaded thought. Giving you the chance to speak out, " what are you talking about i never left the palace.. I've been... " you spoke stopping to look around and collect your surroundings. Maybe you had gone beyond palace borders and not realized. You looked back to Thranduil, you could see the fear and worry written on his face.... That and the huge amount of guards he had that were helping to search for you. The king sighed softly, holding his hand out to you, " (y/n ) my love come with me... " he spoke, waiting for you to take his hand. Once you did, he pulled you up in front of him so he could take you to the garden... like his original plan. He held you tightly against his frame and toned chest, as he got you both to the garden. Getting off he held his hands out to you so he could gently get you down as well. Checking you over once just to be sure you were safe and sound even though you were clearly right in front of him, " I have something important for you.. " he spoke, lightly grabbing your hand beckoning for you to follow as he kissed your temple, Causing you to blush softly as you squeezed his hand a bit. You followed him up to the secret waterfall you both loved to go to, to get away from time to time, never long, merrily a night was always good for you both. He walked in behind the waterfall behind you and before you turned around he was already down on one knee, Thrainduil was never one to bow to anyone, now you was a different story best saved for later that is. But for now you turned to see him down on one knee pulling a small engraved box out as he opened it, " Mandy you are the love of my life and the air in my lungs, i can go no further without you being mine forever and eternity" He pulled the ring out of the box and set it down lightly grabbing your hand with the ring finger as the other went top your mouth as you gasped, " w Mandy will you do me the favor of being my wife and this kingdom's queen forever. " he spoke softly and hopeful as he looked up at you = as he slid the ring on your ring finger. You nodded your head tears in your eyes as you sobbed out a yes. You couldn't be happier, you never wanted anyone else but him, he was your first and only true love. Thranduil stood immediately pulling you to him as he placed his finger under your chin and pulled you to his lips in a searing kiss.... He loved you, he truly did. And he would spend the rest of eternity showing you that.
