Charles had just enrolled you at his institute. He wanted to help you control your powers. You had been working with him for years now and you still feel like you haven't done anything productive. " Charles my powers haven't made any progress and it's been years " you huff and throw yourself onto his couch in his office. He smiles at you " those things take time y/n ... Have patience you'll get the hang of it " he says. You over exzaturated a sigh ad said " I'm not patient... It's not fair " you wine. Normally you don't do this around the others. But with Charles you didn't care.

He chuckles and wheels over to you. " what ? " you whine again and sit up. " Y/n you have been at my school for a while now .... " his face got serious and you stoped pulling off your moping act to listen to him. ".....You are one of my best students... And I've grown quite fond of you .... I'd never thought of admitting this to you until now ..." Was he really serious? You had liked him for a while now. But was afraid to say you cleared your mind again to listen. Your mind was racing. Charles gave you a slight smile " (y/n) .... I've liked you for a while now.... And I know I promised never to read your mind unless you let me or it was dire circumstances.... But I had to be sure you liked me to. " he said taking your hand in his. " (y/n) I really like you.... And I was wondering if you would have dinner with me tonight.... Just you and me " he gives you a smile. At first you feel betrayed that he would read your mind instead of just asking.

But you understood that he didn't want to seem like a fool asking you out. Only to get a no as an answer. You nod your head and hug him " that would be wonderful " you answer cheekily. He smiles brightly. He seemed overjoyed " wonderful! " Charles says. " so ill be ready at seven " you say and he nods " as will I " he says with a smile " I have the perfect place for us to go. The best place for a beautiful women like you " you blush when he says that. You stood up, " well I'm going to get ready now so um.. Yea." You say blushing and stand up. He smiles and watches you walk out.

You walk into your room and pick out a nice classy black dress. You walk over to your mirror and brush through your hair before putting your hair up into a nice and neat bun. You put on a nice light pink lipstick as you hear a light knock on your door. You look at the time and you notice it's already seven. You slip on some flats and open the door to see Charles waiting for you. " (y/n) you look.... Beautiful. " he tells you with a smile on his face. You imedatly blushed and glanced down at her feet. " ready to go? " he asks with a smile and you nod. Following him out of the x mansion. To a nice fancy restraunt. You two had a wonderful time. Laughing and and having a good time. You didn't even realize how late it was. Until you look at the clock, the restraunt was about to close so you both had to leave. Charles payed for the bill and walked you out of the restraunt. Well mostly you did the walking and he was in his wheelchair. But that's besides the point. Once you where back at the x mansion he walked you back to your room. You leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. " maybe we can do this again sometime? " he asks you with a smile and you nod. " oh most defiantly! " you say cheekily. And he chuckles, " how about a movie tommrow? " he asks you and you nod smileing, " see you tommrow then. " you giggle and the both of you say your goodnights before you retreat into your own rooms. You smile getting changed and flop on your bed happily. This day went a whole lot better than you thought it would have. You snuggle under your covers happily day dreaming about your date until you drift off to sleep for the night
