"It was the little moments, she soon found out."

Sakura let out a breath of air, the cold wind howling in her ears as she walked. She shivered, looking at the ominous clouds looming over the small street. She hugged herself, walking down the pavement and cursed.

Of all times why did she have to forget her umbrella?! She mentally lamented. "God I need to hurry,  this bloody rain will be here any minute."

Sasuke wouldn't be able to drop her home, he had basketball practice and she didn't wish to trouble him. She should've taken up Ino's offer to drop her home, she thought bitterly. She should've borrowed Shikamaru's umbrella but she politely refused instead.

"Ugh. Fuck my life..." She muttered, feeling the light drizzle dampening her uniform. She couldn't even call her parents. Their car had broken down last week and it would take a few more weeks for them to get another one.

This is just one terrible dream.

All on a Tuesday.

"Fuck Tuesdays."

The screech of a tire brought her out of her self hatred. She jumped, turning around with her bag in hand, ready to beat the shit out of a motherfucker. Relief flooded her veins upon seeing the familiar plate of the one and only.

"Sakura!" Sasuke snapped sharply, coming out hurriedly to hold her, "What the hell are you doing out in the rain?" Her boyfriend queried frantically, pulling her in into the warmth of his car. She sighed, feeling the pair of obsidian eyes, focused. Focused on her and silently demanding answers.

"It's just Tuesday."

"Why didn't you let Ino drop you home?"

"Why aren't you at practice?" She asked him calmly. Rain belted down the car, the sounds reverberating throughout the interior. She was starting to feel sleepy, but tried to keep awake. She still had to cram a few weeks worth of Chemistry notes for the test tomorrow.

Sasuke sighed, "Practice got cancelled..." He turned to the now empty street-save for the few cars that sped past them. Their bright lights piercing through the thick mist like knives.

His hand gently grazed her shoulder, "you shouldn't have been out there," he muttered.

A smile tugged at her lips, "I'll keep that in mind for next time."

"Still. You should have called me." He urged, starting the vehicle, letting out a satisfied grunt as the engine roared to life.

"I didn't want to trouble you."

"You could never trouble me." She snorted at his response. She felt slightly better now. Sasuke always had that effect. He calmed her raging heart and he would never know just how much.

But it was Sasuke.

"Movie night?" Sakura decided to give up on cramming.

It never works, she tells herself. Giving in to the promise of cuddles. Cramming is bad anyways.

Sasuke smiled at little at her expression, "My place or yours?"

"Which ever works- wait nevermind, your place is closer."

Sweat trickled down his body, tantamount to the rain outside. His thick brows were knitted in total concentration. Lee's movements were smooth and elegant, light on his feet as he walked through his kata's.
