Wandering around with Sadie is like walking a human puppy. Playful, loud, and always asking questions. Me on the other hand, well I am not any of those things, especially not playful. Anyway we are walking through the woods and I see a movement in the grass a little way down the path. “Get down!” I whisper scream at Sadie. She looks at me for a second like she is trying to decode my face than she dives into the undergrowth. Movement. Can you smell your attacker? I try, but all I can smell are rotten eggs and dog pee. Demon. I think without hesitation. “Run!” I whisper to Sadie. She gets up and without one look behind her, to see if I am following, she dashes farther into the undergrowth. When I finally reach her I find her curled up in a ball in a grassy clearing. I sigh and start to put up the tent for the night.
