"Oh come on Drea. We gotta get going!!!" Hailey rolled her eyes. Standing in the doorway of the house watching me pace through the living room
Today was my first day as the campaign manager for a senate campaign in which I was first introduced by my best friend Hailey who was the press secretary and well,, to say the least, I was nervous actually, nervous is an understatement I was more than nervous. I was terrified
"Ok ok I'm going let me just say bye to the twins first"
"You've said bye to them like 5 times already. Don't act like you aren't stalling because I can see right through your bullshit"
"I'm not stalling!!!"
"Yes you are" My brother Anthony laughed as he listened in to our conversation
"Shut up Anthony!!"
I was in fact stalling but I wasn't gonna admit to it.
"Josie Lizzie remember to behave today ok!! I love you!!" I yelled my voice echoing through the house as I sat next to the front door
"Love you to mommy" they smiled
"Love you more angels"
"ANDREA LETS GO BEFORE I YANK YOU OUT BY THE EAR" Hailey joked
"Ok ok I'm going" I rolled my eyes as we left the house
I was so nervous for some strange reason I'd never been this nervous for any of the other campaigns that I had managed for but for some reason this one just made me jump out of my seat at the thought of it
"Drea you ok??" Hailey questioned snapping me back from my thoughts
"Yeah just super nervous"
"Don't be everything's gonna be fine, although I warn you Mr.Ossoff is very much McDreamy" she smiled as she turned on the radio making the noise in the car extra loud than before
"Whatever you say"
We arrived to an office building in the not very great but also not very bad area of Atlanta. It was a pretty good office building. Being that this was for a literal senate campaign
"I got this right" I questioned Hailey nervously as we entered the elevator my fingers began fidgeting
"Yes, you do now stop stressing!!!"
We exited the elevator entering a large office being spotting a women late 30's long brown hair and really tall both me and Hailey stared at each other awkwardly trying to figure out who would make the first move to talk to her
"May I help you?" the women turned around seeing as though she must have sensed us or had some kind of third eye
"Oh Um, I'm Andrea Parker Mr.Ossoff's Campaign Manager, I think we spoke on the phone last week"
"Ah!! Ms. Parker, Hailey has told me a lot about you! Mr. Ossoff is currently meeting with his interns so when he's done I'll call you but uh, for now, I can show you to your office!!"
"She gets an office?!"
"Well of course she's the campaign manager" The women laughed as she lead me over to my office
"And what did you say your name was??" I questioned
"Amanda Solis, Mr.Ossoff's Assistant"
"Oh ok!! Thank you again"
