Date: January 24, 2024.
Three years later.
I worked on my computer, bored as I waited for Jon to come home from work and the girls to come home from their sports practice that they had just started.

With the Biden administration just having started their second term in office. the Democrats still having a senate majority, Working for Schumer these last few years was a great experience. It gave me and Jon the opportunity to often see each other at work. But not as often as we wished.

The time was almost 6 at night the sun was slowly setting and my eyes were shutting. As I had just been working on some things for a meeting Chuck would be having in the coming weeks. snow was slowly beginning to fall.

Lucy was in my grasp, as I rubbed her head. worry in my head questioning whether the girls had their jackets and gloves because obviously with playing sports like softball and volleyball both don't necessarily go to practice prepared for snowfall.

I was just about to call Jon and ask if he had picked the girls from school yet because it was his turn to do so, but just as I was going too his phone ID had popped up on my screen.

"Hey, babe!! I was just about to call you. Have you picked the girls up yet?"

I could feel Jon's smile through the phone "Not exactly. I need you to do me a favor."

"Jon what the hell. It's literally snowing their gonna get sick."

"Baby it's fine. Trust me. Just look out the window really quickly." Jon dismissed me as I huffed tiredly lifting myself off the couch Lucy following right behind. Scratching at my leg for me to pick her up. As I did so.

Opening the curtain to the window I could very clearly see Jon. His tall figure standing just a little bit below our window, the phone still in his hand. As snow fell all over his face.

I was still very confused. But Lucy was now barking at her dad excitedly. Her tail wagging violently as Jon gave us a cute smile.

"What are you up Thomas."

"Just come on down here. There's something I wanna show you."

"Jon this better be worth it because I'm currently assuming you haven't picked up the girls yet and I'm gonna kick your ass if you haven't "

"Just trust me!"

I nodded with a smile as I shut the window. Hanging up from Jon and I's call, Grabbing my keys, as I slipped on my white slip on vans, followed by my jacket and beanie

Lucy was pouting as she watched me get ready to leave. I was originally not gonna take her but her puppy eyes were too much so I of course threw on her jackets, and some shoes that Jon had recently got her as I carried her in my grasp walking to the outside of the building

Once I stepped outside, I went over to Jon greeting him with a hug and a kiss as Lucy excitedly began barking again as Jon picked her up from the floor.

"So what's this all about?"

"Can I at least get a hi?"

"Hi, baby."

Jon stayed silent for a few moments. "God Andrea you have no idea how beautiful you are." He turned to look at the side of him. Confused at what it was I also looked as well.

There stood, Anthony. Arlette. Hailey. the girls. Valerie. Penelope. Noah. Ethan. Elizabeth. And even Amanda. Smiles on every one of their faces some holding phones recording and some just standing there happily. Waiting to see what would happen.
