He Wants To As Well

   Arrows.

   Poison.

The press is coming down; it's really coming down-

Bones crack under the heavyweight. He could practically feel the organs bursting out of him before his head was crushed, the rest of his body following straight after. His world goes black.

And that was supposed to be it until it wasn't.

Oma Kokichi's eyes fly open, and he attempts to sit right up but is immediately held back by restraints around his limbs and neck. He's in some sort of glass coffin or pod or something. A loud beeping noise keeps blaring in his ear.

He isn't sure how long it is before three sharp beeps ring out and the lid begins to lift. Immediately, his vision is filled with middle-aged officials donned with long white lab coats and holding clipboards.

The raisin-haired boy remains silent as they poke and prod at him, releasing him from his restraints and helping him to sit up.

"What do you remember?" One of them asks, not even bothering with a simple greeting, "Of the killing game or your time before then?"

   Oma doesn't say a word.

   "Hello? Can you speak?"

". . .What the fuck was that?" He mutters finally.

That's when the Team Danganronpa officials fill him in on everything. They tell him everything that happened after his 'death.' They tell him all about Shirogane and Team Danganronpa and the fictional aspects of everything. Then they tell them what they all learned upon getting out; the entire game was a virtual simulation about the resort and that everyone would be awake soon.

   ". . .I see. Alright."

"Now, we're going to transfer you to your room. Is there anyone, in particular, you want me to send your way of those awake? You can pick from Harukawa, Yumeno, Tojo, Keebo, Gokuhara, Chabashira, Shinguji-who just woke up a couple of hours ago, and Saihara."

For the slightest moment, he has the urge to ask to see Saihara but immediately squashes it.

"No, I'd rather be left alone," Oma staggers to his feet, allowing himself to be helped to the door, "And I would prefer if you didn't mention it to anyone else that I'm awake."

"Certainly. But they'll find out soon on their own when they come across your empty pod."

   "I don't care."

Saihara makes a mental note to try and keep Chabashira and Yumeno away from Shinguji, at least for now. Frankly, he isn't really in the mood to deal with that tension, and he's been so tired lately.

Gokuhara and Shinguji refuse to talk to anyone. Keebo is going through some sort of an identity crisis, not remembering any life before the game as a human and trying to readapt. Sometimes they still hear an "inner voice." Tojo has thrown herself into maid duties, cooking, cleaning, and fulfilling the occasional request. Chabashira and Yumeno are still inseparable and seem to be desperately waiting for Yonaga to wake up. Harukawa either spends time alone in her room reading or doing some training on her own, wanting to get her body as strong and powerful as her avatar and Saihara. . .Well, he doesn't do much.

What can he really do? He's here for a year with no memories of his previous life and recent memories of a traumatic killing game. Additionally, his anxiety and depression seem to worsen, but that's only to be expected.
