Oma frowns, glaring at the door, wondering who exactly could be on the other side.
Did they know he's awake now? Because by now, there's a very good chance they all know now. Perhaps one or a few of them came to send him back to the grave or something. How will they do it? Shooting, stabbing, poisoning, electrocution, drowning, crushing, skinning-
The person knocks again, now sounding impatient.
Oma sighs, rolling off the bed and shuffling over to the door. He unlocks the door and opens it to find Yumeno Himiko glancing at him shyly, fiddling with the ends of her apple-coloured hair.
"I-um. . .When I went to get Yonaga-chan, I noticed your pod was empty. I went to look for you in the infirmary, but you weren't there, so I came here." She mumbles, not meeting his gaze.
Oma's eyes narrow. "But. . .why?"
"No one else has realized you're up yet, and I just didn't think it was fair you had no visitors! Even if you did a lot of bad shit in the simulation, your intentions were good. . .I think. I just wanted to check up on you!"
He raises an eyebrow. "Is that true?" He questions suspiciously.
Yumeno sighs, defeated. "Fine. The people who do know you're awake sent me to make sure you aren't. . .scheming anything. Sorry."
Oma forces a grin, going to shut the door. "No, Yumeno-san, I am not 'scheming' anything. Goodbye-"
"Wait!" Yumeno cries, jamming her shoe between the door and the doorpost, ". . .Everyone is gathering in the dining hall-it's kind of mandatory that everyone comes, Official's orders."
He tilts his head. "Even Shirogane?"
"I. . .Well. . .That situation is sort of complicated. I think they're going to touch on her as well. So let's go?" She says hopefully.
"No one's going to want to see me, Yumeno-san."
"That doesn't matter," She grabs his wrist, "We're going."
"Wh-hey!"
She drags him out of his room and down the hall, heading towards the dining hall where everyone is waiting. She pushes open the doors, and Oma is greeted by the sight of all of his classmates, as alive and well as they were at the beginning of the game.
The second the doors fly open, everyone turns and stares at the two. Making Oma want to fizzle up and disappear. Some faces have tentative smiles, others look disgusted, and others are completely blank.
His eyes meet Saihara's, who's sandwiched between Momota and Akamatsu, but the former Ultimate Detective quickly looks away. He sighs.
"Come sit with my partners and me." Yumeno murmurs, tugging on his sleeve again. Oma allows himself to be dragged in the direction of Yonaga and Chabashira, seated next to the former mage.
Two of the Officials enter then, one with long orange hair and the other with a green mullet.
"Thank you all for coming," The one with the orange hair begins, "I'm Bushida, and this is Sano. Now, um, you're probably all wondering where Shirogane-san is, and the short answer is that she's somewhere safe. Her past with Team Danganronpa and becoming the Mastermind was also all fabricated. That was not the real Shirogane-just, like how you don't really have those talents or those backstories. We ask that you all be cordial with her upon her return along with," Bushida gestures to Oma, "Oma Kokichi. Everyone, play nice."
Sano speaks next. "We have all of your real memories in your Blackout Lights, and we're uploading them into Flashback Lights. If all goes well, we'll return your true memories tomorrow. This won't take away from your Killing Game memories or fabricated memories."
