Against All Odds

Ch. 9

Recap:

We were sitting on the kitchen floor laughing when the doorbell rang. Logan looked at me with puppy dog eyes so I got up and went to answer the door, figuring it was one of the guys or Ciara.

I opened the door only to slam it shut again. When it was closed I leaned against it and screamed.

Logan came running to where I was standing.

"Chelsea! Are you ok?! What happened?! Who's at the door?" He asked frantically.

"I....they....Hi we're One Direction!....and I....and then-"Logan cut off my breathless rant.

"Take a deep breath, sweetheart, and tell me what happened." He said. I took a deep breath like he said.

"Um...well, One Direction is on your front porch and I think I may have offended them..." I told him.

"Oh! I forgot I told them they could stay whenever they were in town!" Logan exclaimed throwing the door open and shouting, "Hey guys! Come on in!"

My eyes widened at his words and my mouth went dry. Let them in?! I could barely stand to see them standing on the porch. I started making frantic motions at Logan, but he didn't notice.

Liam, Louis, Harry, Niall, and Zayn, AKA the boys of 1D, were standing less than ten feet away from me after I just slammed the door in their faces. I felt SOO embarrassed. I could feel my cheeks getting red when they looked over and saw me standing against a wall.

"Hi Logan!" Liam exclaimed. The other boys all murmured their hellos also. I noticed Harry and Niall kept glancing over my way and whispering to each other. I felt my cheeks getting redder so I looked at the ground.

Logan must have noticed also because he said, "Guys this is Chelsea. She lives with me, and is practically my little sister." He threw an arm around my shoulder.

"Hi Chelsea!" Louis shouted as he ran over and engulfed me in a huge bear hug, throwing Logan's arm off my shoulder.

"Um...hi?" I said, hugging him back. I guess Louis really is a child at heart...kinda like me!

Liam came over next and gave me a softer hug, but it was still nice.

"Hello Chelsea. It's very nice to meet you." He told me.

"Hey," Zayn said smoothly, also giving me a hug.

Harry bounded over just as Louis had, but didn't hug me quite as hard as Louis did. His was just a nice soft hug and whispered, "Hi Chelsea," in my ear.

Lastly, Niall walked over and gave me a hug. He said hello while hugging me. Wow, Horan hugs really were the best!

Niall chuckled and said, "I know right?" I said that out loud?

"Yup!" Niall chuckled again. Oops.
