Fourth Phase

Once I looked at it I got 198 and it looks like Killua got 199. This is gonna be harder then it seems. I thought to myself.

Readers POV:
The examiner who was for the third phase brought us to an island. This was where we were gonna hunt the persons badge. Our own badge is worth three points and same with your target. The rest are worth one, we only need six points to pass.

I came off first, as soon a I did I darted. I hop in a tree far away from the view of the boat. If anything since the number I'm hunting is a triplet, they might be all together.

I'll just wait for a third day, I need some training. I thought to myself as I walked towards the darker parts of the woods.

I soon ran into Killua, he was just walking around. I feel like there's someone else, but I can't see them.

Hey Killua! I said while running towards him. I wasn't paying attention so I tripped over a root.

"You idiot! Watch where you're going." Killua scolded me while walking passed me.

Someone's moody today.. I mumble under my breath.

"I'm not moody! You just tripped in front of me." Killua says, even though it's obvious he is.

Alright, aren't you gonna help your "princess" up. I said mocking Killua. I didn't think he would walk back towards me.

"I'm sorry princess, here let your prince help you." He said teasingly while holding his hand out to help me.

I can get up myself. I mumbles while hiding my face. Ever since we met those three boys Killua has been more clingy. Is he jealous? I ask myself.

Killua's POV:
"I can get up myself." (Y/n) mumbles while hiding her face.

There was a pause before she mumbled something. "Is he jealous?" She practically whisperers.

Wait, is she talking about me? I thought while pulling her off the ground.

(Y/n), do you think I'm jealous? I ask as we start walking. I keep feeling someone by us, probably after me.

"What? No why?" She asked, knowing she's a horrible liar.

Just a hunch. I say as I stop walking. Come out, I know you're there. I said to whoever was following us. As expected they didn't come out.

"Killua, we should team up." (Y/n) said with the cutest smile.

What number do you need? I asked, although I wouldn't mind if she needed mine for all I care.

"I'll just show you, I don't want the chance of my target following us." She said as she showed me her card. It's was 198, I needed 199.

I nod to her, letting her know I read it. She starts doing what she loves doing, climbing trees.

You idiot! You could get caught! I yell at her as she's in the tree. She doesn't seem to care at all though.

"Cant get caught if you can't see me." She says while hiding her body, not very well might I add.

I climb up the tree with her, I kinda wanted attention from her. She seems to like the stars more then me.

Wow, it seems pretty cold I wish somebody was keeping me warm. I said trying to drop the hints.

"Yeah it's pretty chilly." (Y/n) replied as she kept here attention towards the sky.

Readers POV:
Wow, it seems pretty cold I wish somebody was keeping me warm. Killua said, he normally does whenever he wants attention.

I just ignore it and keep my attention towards the sky. I loved the sunset view.

Yeah it's pretty chilly. I said trying to to fully ignore Killua.

"I really hope you won't give me attention and hug me." He said trying to get my attention once more.

Don't hold your breath. I said finally looking at Killua.

His eyes had a bit of anger but loneliness. Fine, I'll pay attention to you. I said giving into his adorable eyes. Come here we can watch the sunset together! I said happily.

Killua sits next to me against the tree and I put my head on his shoulder. He was a bit tense at first, he got used to it as the night came into eye view.

"Hey (y/n), thank you." Killua said as the sun fully set.

For what Killua? I ask him while looking up into his ocean eyes.

"Thank you for giving me a chance and staying with me. Like how you tried running away, you gave me a chance once we talked." Killua explained himself.

Umm Killua, you made me go back downstairs. That's when the wrist pulling thing started. I said with a monotone voice.

"Oh yeah! Well thanks for being there is what I'm trying to say." He smiles as me, soon enough I fall asleep.

Before I fell into a full sleep, Killua said something I couldn't understand.

Time skip~

I woke up to Killua not by me, he's with someone. Possibly the person who was following us. Before I hop out of the tree I watch what's happening.

There's three guys now, one guy has the badge I need. There surrounding Killua, I'm not sure if I should step in or not.

I decide not to step in, he seemed to do fine by himself. Soon enough Killua came back to the tree. As expected the fluffy haired boy got the badges.

"(Y/n), I got our badges!" Killua said proudly, that made my heart melt.

Thanks Killua! I said while taking my badge, he just smiled like a Gon.

I wonder how everyone else is doing. I asked Killua, even though Killua doesn't know either.

"Well I don't want Kurapika and Leorio near you." Killua says jealous.

Why not? Well I understand for Leorio, he wasting our time for his needs. I don't understand Kurapika though. I ask Killua.

"Kurapika got to close to you.." Killua mumbles under his breath.

Jealous much? I asked as I jumped down to the ground.

"I'm not jealous stupid! I just don't want a nineteen year old all over you!" Killua defends himself.

The rest of the time we spent on the island, we spent training. Killua helped me get stronger and he helped me learn new things.

Killua, Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and I met up where the boat would be arriving,

"(Y/n), Killua didn't do anything to you right?" Leorio asks, as if I have to worry about Killua.

Killua wouldn't do anything to me, I'm fine. I said defending Killua for once.

Before anyone else could talk the boat arrived. Some lady took a look at our badges and counted up our points.

Once that was over, we all went into the aircraft that was floating above.

Once we got on chairman started calling us in one by one for questioning. I went first for questioning.

As I sat down he started the questioning. "So mostly to fill my own curiosity, why do you want to be a hunter?" The chairman asked. I simply stated that I didn't really have a choice.

He didn't ask me to specify why and just continued. "Who out of the nine contestants are you keeping a close eye on?" He asked, still going on with the questions.

I'd say number 287, somethings off about him. "Alright last question." The chairman said before continuing.

"Who would you least want to fight?" That was a simple question. Simple, number 99. I replied. "Why's that?"

The chairman kept asking questions. Simply because I know what he can do. I replied. "Alright you may leave." The chairman excused me.

I was able to do whatever until we land once more. Onto the final phase (y/n), don't blow it. Do it for Killua. I thought to myself.
