Bye. Was all I said as I felt someone else's presence behind me.

Killua's POV:

(Y/n) might not know it but I knew exactly where she was. She's not that hard to find in all honesty.

I spotted her as Gon and I were going back to the house. It was already pretty dark, Gon and I explored the whole island.

I started walking up to her as I heard her talking on the phone.

"We went to Whale Island, don't worry we'll be back in Yorknew again." (Y/n) explained.

After she said "bye" it seemed like she noticed a presence. Did she notice mine? I thought to myself as she was about to turn around.

Before (y/n) could turn around I hugged her from behind. There was so much that I didn't know about her.

She keeps so much secrets away from Gon and I, it's like she'll tell me one thing and leave out the important part.

Was that the price you had to pay in order to train with Illumi? I asked unintentionally.

"Nothing much, just have to tell him what we're up to." She explains coldly.

I should get to know her, I want to! I just can't bring myself to ask her personal questions.

"We should head back, it's late." She says while managing to break free from my hug.

Gon's already at the house. I said while walking up.

She just nodded in response.

Readers POV:

Killua and I started walking up the hill to Mito's house. In all honesty I've known Killua for almost two years now. He's not hard to understand at all.

Although some days he amazes me, he's so good with hiding emotions. I always feel like I have to be like him so I could fit in.

His family never really liked me, they only took me in since Killua needed a wife. Honestly I think Illumi needed one but since I was Killua's age.

Once we got to the house, they boys went off to bed.

"(Y/n) dear!" Mito called out to me.

Yeah? I responded.

"Well I know Gon not Killua would do anything, but just to be safe. I have a bed set up for you in my room." Mito offered, I guess Gon didn't tell her that Killua and I are supposed to be married soon.

No I'm fine, I'll sleep with the boys. Thanks for the offer though. I said hopefully she'll let me.

If I have to sleep in her room, I don't know how good her senses are or even when she falls asleep. For all I know if I go to the tree then she could catch me.

"Alright.. I'll be in my room if you need anything." She said as I walked towards Gon's room.

I heard Killua and Gon playing, I'm not sure what.

Hey, so Killua you know the drill. I said as I walked into the room.

Killua and I used to do this every time I wanted to get away from the house for a bit. He would make the bed look like I was sleeping and I left.

"(Y/n) what drill?" Gon asked as they stopped playing around.

"(Y/n) likes to go outside and sleep out there better then indoors. So in case Mito comes in to check up I'll put a fake (y/n) made from pillows and blankets." Killua explained for me.

"Why does she sleep outside? Wouldn't the ground get uncomfortable?" Gon asked quietly.

I don't sleep on the ground, there's trees for a reason. I explained to Gon, he still looked confused.

"Why not on a bed?" He asked, a normal response to be honest.

"I don't even know that Gon, she never talks about it." Killua said while giving me a stare.

No point to talk about it, it's in the past. I said blowing off the situation as I tried sneaking off.

"Could you at least tell me?" Gon asked stopping me from jumping out the window.

Would you leave me alone then? I asked Gon with an annoyed tone.

Killua and Gon both nodded aggressively.

It might sound stupid but the person I though was my mother used to lay up in a tree close to my house at night and stargaze. I said sheepishly.

"How about we all go?" Gon asked happily.

No it's fine, you really don't have to. I said.

"Let's go Gon! Tell Mito!" Killua chimes in.

No it's fine! I tried saying, although Gon was already running to ask.

"Let's go (y/n)!" Gon said on his way back from asking.

Killua and Gon both dragged me to the tree that Killua found me at.

It was a pretty big tree, although it was weird with both of them. There was a platform where we all could at least sit.

Killua sat on the right side of me and Gon sat of my left. It's like they were being protective of me somehow.

Stop acting like you're my older brothers protecting me from a guy. I told them as they relaxed.

"I am your brother though!" Gon complained.

"Im supposed to be protective over my girlfriend." Killua explained as he put his arm around me.

After talking, stargazing, and basically having fun, we all fell asleep. Gon's head was resting on my shoulder, Killua's arm was still around me and his head was on my shoulder, and my head was resting on Gon's head.

I woke up from Killua screaming. My eyes burst open and all I see is Killua on the ground.

You good? I asked while looking over the tree.

"Yeah, you idiots took up the space." Killua complained.

"What's with the noise." Gon said with a yawn.

Killua fell out of the tree. I saided with no regret.

Gon kept chuckling, trying to not laugh. Obviously failing though.

"Idiots." Killua said as he got up and brushed himself off.
