What kind of person doesn't love their family
Completely detached, yeah I try to be
People only know what I let them see
Still, who knows, maybe one day they'll see the real me
The one who hides behind lies
The kind of person society despises
Judgement, clear across their face
Putting people under microscopes
And self esteem isn't something that can be replaced
But still we try
Try to fill the void left inside
You're left with choices and only you can decide
Forget half empty
Forget half full
That void is a glass with a gaping hole
It'll never be filled
No one is ever, or will be enough
Can't find that diamond in the rough
So tell me now
When the drive in life is to be thrilled
Is it really a wonder why we end up killed
