I finally got a full drawing of Eir done. The only copy of the drawing I have though is from my Chibi heart project so I don't have just the character so instead you guys get to enjoy the full piece.
Eir's pov
My head was really sore when I opened my eyes. I looked around the room. It was really dark so I couldn't see much.
"Hello?" No one answers. I stumble to my feet, ready to walk forward when something knocks me back followed by barking. I blink and look in the direction of the noise. I could just barely make out the shape of something.
"Oh hello there" I smile, reaching out to touch it. It snaps at my hand which I pull back.
"No need to be so mean" I scold it. It barks again before its nails clicked against the floor. Light floods the room from a new gap in the wall. I cover my eyes from the bright light which is soon intensified.
"Eir? Are you alright?" I lower my arm to look at who was there.
"Aries?" I ask. She walks forward, kneeling down in front of me. She reaches one hand out and brushes against my cheek.
"I'm so glad you're safe" she smiles, brushing a lock of hair from my face.
"Safe? Safe from what?" I ask, tilting my head to the side with confusion.
"Loki of course"
"But why would dad hurt me" Aries places a finger over my mouth.
"Ssh. No talking. All will be explained in due time but right now I want to make you feel welcome. Come along" she pulls me to my feet. I look around for the strange creature but it was gone now. Aries leads me away from the room and out into a long corridor. I didn't recognise my surroundings.
"Where are we?" I ask, looking around.
"That I can not say" we reach a door which she opens, bringing me into a new room. It's lit with lots of blue reflecting through the large fish tank on the far side of the room. I squirm my hand out of Aries' grip and approach the tank, watching the inside. I couldn't see any fish. Something moves in the glass below my feet. I look down but it's gone. A shadow looms over me and I look up to see that there was a shark looking down at me.
"Hello" I whisper to it. It continues to look at me. There was a little dial on the glass which I turned slightly. It opened a hole big enough for my hand. I stick my hand into the hole, feeling some kind of weird webbing followed by water.
"Hey! What are you doing?"
"Eir! Bring your hand out now" Aries and the other man were now looking at me. I turned my attention back to the tank when the Shark pressed its nose into my hand. I laugh.
"Aww. You're so pretty" I stroke its nose which it seems to like. My arm is slapped away from the tank and I turn to look at Aries.
"Don't disobey my order" she snaps. I step back, holding my arm where she had struck me.
"You hit me" she grabs my coat, pulling me closer to her face.
"I'll do more than hit you if you disobey me again" she snaps. I lower my body away from her. I wasn't sure why Aries was acting this way but I didn't want to be near her when she was like this. I changed shape into what I'd seen being called a Cheetah and ran, heading straight for the door. I ducked around the door and sped down the corridor. I could hear snarling and turned behind me. Strange black beings that looked like dogs were chasing me. I pushed myself to go faster and ignore my surroundings. If those things caught me then it might not be good news. After the tenth door, I was starting to grow tired. I shifted forms into a dog and continued to push myself to run. I had to outrun them. I could hear heavy thudding behind me but didn't dare look back. Surely I was nearing a way out right. Something slammed down on my back, knocking the wind out of me and pinning me to the ground. I struggled against them but the grip on my shoulders wouldn't loosen. I shifted forms in hopes that I could struggle free. My attacker lost grip of my shoulders because of the form change and I used this as an opportunity to pull myself away from them. I went to stand when I was hit to the ground again with a quick weight on my back that soon vanished. The weight was found on my ankle where I cried out from the pain. I turned around. Aries was stood above me, a bat in hand. I tried to get to my feet but my ankle hurt to much and I fell to the floor.
"I didn't want to have to do this but you left me no choice" she walked over next to my head and crouched down. I leaned away from her, eyeing the bat.
"If you be a good girl then I won't have to hurt you again" I said nothing, still staring at her. She took a hold of my jacket and used it to hoist me up.
"Let's get you back to your room since you don't want to behave today" she carried me back to that empty room and put me back on the floor. The bat was gone now and replaced with a chain. She bent down and pulled my sore ankle forward, clasping the chain's cuff around it. She attached the chain to the wall then stood up.
"I'll be back with some blankets and pillows so that you will be comfortable" she turns around and walks to the door. She swings her hand and another one of those weird black creatures formed, taking its form from the dark corners of the room. She flicked the light switch off and closed the door, leaving me in complete darkness. Alone. This took forever to actually get around to doing but I was debating how I wanted the relationship between Eir and Aries to be. Then I recently watched a video about something else and now I'm obsessed with the idea of bad people smashing the good guys ankle in with a bat to put the stakes higher. Dunno why. Just do.
