Delanes heart stopped and his mouth became a gapping hole as he stared at the girl in disbelief. All he could do was shake his head and repeatedly say "NO!" Crystals sister nodded her head while still crying. Suddenly Delane took off down the hall towards the doors that led to the stairs. He pushed the door open so hard that it slammed into the wall. Students hanging around on the stairs screamed from the loud noise.
Delane ran down the stairs so fast it looked as if he were floating. When he reached the first floor he continued to run until he reached the doors that led to the outside. Once he got to the doors he was stopped in his tracks once again. He seen a ambulance parked in front of the girls dorm, surrounded by police, crying students and teachers.

Delane slowly walked out of the doors barely able to walk. As he reached the scene he seen paramedics bring out a body on a stretcher.
The body was covered by a white sheet. He could barely make out the shape of a petite face underneath. Delane nearly stopped breathing when he noticed brown long hair with a touch of blonde draping over the top of the stretcher. He was staring at her hair. Delane quickly covered his mouth as tears streamed out of his eyes.

Through his blurry vision he seen the paramedics push the stretcher over the curb. The bump caused a hand to fall from under the sheet. The hand had a bandage wrapped around the wrist. The cloth was a dark, wet, bloody red.
As the hand hung there blood dripped uncontrollably on the light concrete (drip...drip...drip...) thats all Delane seen right before he lifted his head to the dark sky and blacked out.
