Chapter 8

-Meliodas' POV-

I pulled away, looking at her.

"Sorry, but I'm already taken and I'm pretty happy with him." I said. She looked at me, asking "Why not me? I could do whatever you want and make you feel so good."

She went over to me, her hands going to my waist as she laid her head on my should. I slowly pulled her off of me.

"Listen, I am not gonna cheat, expectly not with someone else I doesn't love like that. We just meet anyways. We could still go to the park and skate, but only if you stop acting like this." I said, taking a step back.

"But I want y-" I cut her off by saying "I'm going home. We could still be friends if you stop acting like this. Think about it at least."

Then I went up on my skateboard and went home.

I plopped myself on the couch, waiting for the message I wanted to see so badly now. I need to talk to El about the kiss so it wouldn't be any misunderstandings.

After a hour sleep or two, I woke up by my phone calling, making me see it was El.

"Hey love." I spoke after accepting the call.

"Hey, I'm home now. You still want to go?" He asked.

"Of course, wouldn't want to miss a minute being with you."

"Okay, I'm coming to you. Before we hang up, Elizabeth wants to talk to you." El said.

"Sure." I answered. Then I heard that the phone was handed to someone before I heard Elizabeth's voice.

"H-hey Meliodas. I just wanted to say sorry for before. I regret it. I'm not going to do it again. Promise." She said. A small smile formed on my lips before speaking "I accept your apology, but I do need to talk to El about this, just so it won't be any misunderstandings."

"Okay. Bye." She said and then the phone hung up.

Well, gotta make myself ready for El coming.

With that, I went to take a fast shower before putting on some comfortable and warm, but not too warm, clothes.

After that, the bell rang and I ran downstairs to be meet with El.

"Yo." I said and stepped out. With a small "Hey." we started skating. We been at the treehouse some times, but never alone together. We have a big fridge and freezer full of ale and wine. Freezing alcohol doesn't sound so good, but it's actually better then you think when it turned to liquid again.

As we neared the forest, we picked up our skateboards and started walking.

"What did my sister want you before? She said she was sorry for something..." El spoke.

"Yeah, I nearly forgot. Don't think I cheat or anything, because I really didn't know she would do it and I pushed her away. 'Kay?" I asked. He looked at me, a hint of worry in his eyes as he nodded.

"She kissed me, but I never kissed back." I said. Then he asked "You sur-"

I cut him off by bringing him into a kiss, pushing him up the nearest tree in the process.

Once we separated, I looked him in the eyes and said "You're the only one for me. I love you with all my heart."

My arms went around him in a hug as I laid my head to rest on his chest. His hoodie must be so fluffy with how soft it was. It was slightly hard, but not much.

His hands went to my hair as he started playing. Massaging my hair bottom.

We stood in a comfortable silence a while until I let go, asking "Do you want to continue?"

Getting a nod, I took his hands and led him the rest way to the treehouse. We climbed up on it, me going after El.

"I'm getting the ale, you can go out on the balcony already." I announced. With a small nod, he did as told.

I took some of the ale from the fridge before walking out with a bottle. Once I came outside, it was already a orange sky.

El was sitting down, his arms support him to sit up while his legs was down over the edge. Smiling, I sat down beside him, seeing the sun go down.

"It's beautiful." He said. I nodded and opened the bottle, taking a sip. Then I gave the bottle to El who also took a sip. We continued taking small sips here and there until the bottle was empty. We watched the sun go down and the sky shift colours. From a bit orange to pink that went to light purple and soon it become dark blue, nearly black.

"Wait hereeee, I will just get anotherrr." I slurred as I stood up. El nodded, saying "Be safeee."

As I got another from the fridge, I threw the empty bottle through the glass less window. After that, I went out to El again, taking one more sip of the new ale.

"Here yoooou havee." I slurred. I'm not drunk like I won't remember anything, but I will probably have a headache tomorrow.

El took gis sip before passing it over to me while we looked at the stars and moon. Before i knew it, we was both passed out with another empty bottle.

. . . . .

I woke up in some soft pillow or something together with a breaking headache.

Once I opened my eyes, I saw El sitting up, looking out to the sky while rubbing his forearms like he was freezing. I laid in his lap...

I sat up, whispering "Are you cold?"

He nodded slightly, so I took off inside. After finding what I looked after, I went back out to El who shook of the cold.

I just put the blanket around him, before going into it too. Then I pulled him close while saying "You can borrow my jacket if you're still cold."

"N-no, it's okay." He whispered and laid his head on my chest to go back to sleep.
