"What is it?" asked a worried Eugene.

"Um, I don't really think it's a good-" the doctor stutters out before getting cut off.

"Get to the point doctor! Make it snappy too!" barks General Aberniz.

"A-and the second one is the presence of alcohol in his bloodstream... Izuku apparently has immunity to Alcohol poisoning as well as the side effects of other drugs. He won't get lung cancer or smokers cough from smoking for example. He also cannot get addicted to anything and has complete self control over such substances. However, he is not immune to any impairment or desired effect caused by substances: Alcohol will still impair his judgement, reaction time, etc. Coffee will still wake him up. Tobacco will still calm him down. On the subject of alcohol, his body is now no longer able to rid itself of alcohol in the bloodstream. The only way for him to remove it is to create objects, though this is counterbalanced by his tolerance to it which is an order of magnitude higher than a prequirk adult of his body mass." the doctor quickly states.

General Aberniz seemed to have a confused look at first before turning into one of deep thought. Eugene and Hisashi glanced at each other, seemingly telepathically communicating their thoughts. General Aberniz is the first to say something.

"Well then, congratulations Mr. Midoriya! Your son now has a quirk and your family is debt free! The younger Mr. Midoriya and his newfound quirk still have the choice if he wishes to serve, though I understand if you or younger Mr. Midoriya refuse." Aberniz congratulated.

"Thank you General! Um, for the second part, however, I don't really want him to go through what I did, but I want him to have a say beforehand." Hisashi says.

"I second that. Let's go meet up with Izuku." said Eugene.

The trio of Hisashi, Eugene, and Aberniz make their way into the examination room as Izuku is still sitting in a wheelchair. He turns to face them as a smile appears on his face.

"Hey kiddo! How are you holding up?" asked Hisashi.

"I'm alright dad. A little nausea and cramped legs, but I'm still in one piece. Thanks for asking." Izuku said with an exhausted tone.

"Hey kiddo, I have a question to ask you... This has already been briefed to you multiple times, but after the procedure, do you still wish to continue with serving?" asked Hisashi.

Izuku contemplates for what felt like an eternity. Memories flash by of the stories Eugene told Izuku of Hisashi and his encounters in the military. Some of the mini interviews he got with the other soldiers on the C-10 also rang in his mind. Izuku came to his conclusion.

"I'm certain dad. I'd start now too if I was old enough." said Izuku.

"I see kiddo, I can't really stop you so I'll support you the best I can." stated Hisashi.

"I'm on board with that too, as your godfather it is also my responsibility." said Eugene.

"I'm glad you three came to a conclusion. I'll set up your training and deployment now." said Aberniz.

"Wait what? I thought the Geneva Convention banned child soldiers!" exclaimed a shocked but not worried Izuku.

"Geneva Convention? Don't you mean Geneva Suggestion? Ever since quirks came around that international convention has been as relevant as a slingshot in an artillery battery!" said Aberniz.

"Of course, you'll still receive basic training as well as quirk therapy. Other specialized courses are available to you as well. Clearly you're a fast learner so your deployment is in one year." continued Aberniz.
