Hey Kiddos, I just wanted to say a couple things. Firstly: Chapter 5: When will it happen?

Well with the recent release of the third trailer for the new movie (MHA World Heroes) I realize that much of what I had planned in the coming chapters actually closely aligns with what I can ascertain from the movie trailers. In light of this, as well as taking a bit of an opportunity to fix up the writing of a more inexperienced me, I'll be doing a light rewrite and review of chapter 5 before I post. Unfortunately I am quite busy and already had bitten off a huge chunk with my work on Chapter 13 of my multiverse story so I can't guarantee a release date.

For now, I'll leave you with my Weapon ideas.

FSF-AM50:

A weapon borne out of necessity for a non-rocket Tank Killer during the second Vietnam War and in the Korean Offensive, the minds of Hisashi, General Aberniz, and Major Midoriya worked together to create the most powerful Anti Material Rifle in existence.

After reviewing antiques like the old Anzio Ironworks 20mm, Russian PTRS-41 and PTRD-41, Barrett M82 & M107, Lahti L-39 20mm, and the 50mm M1 Anti Tank Cannon, they came up with the FSF-AM50.

A weapon of great length: Standing over 142 inches with the "Portable" Configuration, it is equipped with a detachable barrel extender to reach an astounding 256 inches (Larger than Karen's Suburban lol. No hate on the vehicle though, I actually quite like it.)

In recognition with the expected weight of a box magazine for such a caliber of weapon, an en block clip feeding system was chosen both to keep on-body ammo capacity higher and to speed up reloading. This utilized a system not unlike that used in the M1 Garand or PTRS-41.

In an effort to reduce length, the FSF-AM50 was a partial bull-pup. With the bolt recoiling into the stock, but the internal magazine and clip were still ahead of the trigger and grip. Barrel material was an experimental built up barrel where in the lightened steel alloy barrel liner was encased in a graphene hooped titanium barrel to save more weight without increasing repair costs. High strength & density polymers were used where ever possible. Barrel droop was negligible over the 200 inches it spanned when fully assembled.

As the recoil from a 50.8mm projectile going 6.17 Mach was going to be a shoulder destroyer if left untamed, a massive 7 baffle arrowhead muzzle brake was included with an efficiency of a +60% reduction in recoil. With the addition of thick padding, mandating a specific shoulder brace for most troops, routing spent gas from the short stroke piston, and a counter weighted bolt, a recoil impulse on par with a Anzio 20mm Rifle could be felt. The Muzzle brake was also able to be mounted to the 21 Baffle Suppressor.

With perhaps too much enthusiasm, Hisashi vouched for a Bayonet mounting lug to be included in the design. His reasons are unknown, but is seems safe to say he would've used it back in his day.
