Kurt woke up from the smell of fresh baked cronuts.
"Good morning princess." Kurt turned his head and saw Blaine holding a plate with the cronuts and coming his way.
"Morning, did you make those?" Kurt said and rubbed his eyes.
"Nope, I went to the bakery." Blaine said and gave him the plate.
"Thank you, where are the others?"
"At the beach."
"So early?"
"It's 12pm." Blaine said and chuckled because he remembered how adorable Kurt looked while sleeping.
"What?" Kurt said and looked at his watch "What are you doing here then?"
"I um waited for you to wake up."
"Why?"
"To not be alone at the house while the rest of us are out."
"Thanks." Kurt said and smiled which made Blaine smile.
"Now eat and then put on a swimsuit."
"Why?"
"We are going for swimming."
"Nope, I said I don't like the beach."
"I don't care you'll come, the world won't end if you get a little dirty princess." Blaine said and winked.
"Don't call me princess."
"You know you love it."
The rest of the day past quickly, Kurt and Blaine went to the beach to find the others. Then they all returned home and they ordered, because no one was in the mood to cook. Finally they all just sat at the couch and watched some TV.
"We should do something." Rachel said and broke the silence.
"Like what?" Sam asked.
"I don't know but I'm bored here, let's go out and have some fun."
"I heard there is a small carnival twenty minutes from here, we can go there." Blaine suggested.
"Yeah that would be fun." Puck said.
"Yess I'm in, Kurt?" Rachel said.
"Yeah sure." Kurt said.
"Great, let's go get ready and we are leaving in fifteen minutes. Blaine you are driving." Rachel said.
They all went to their rooms to change and then they met outside, where Blaine was already inside the car. Puck made a move to sit at the front but Blaine stopped him.
"Kurt will sit here." Blaine said.
"Why?" Kurt asked.
"I wanna stare at you while I'm driving."
"You better stare at the road while you're driving." Kurt said but he didn't object and sat at the front. After twenty minutes like Blaine had said they were at the carnival. It wasn't too big but not too small either. It was a summer night so it had a lot of people. They went to the entrance and bought their tickets. At first they all went to the bumper cars and then they had a disagreement because Blaine, Sam and Puck wanted to go to the roller coaster and Kurt and Rachel wanted to go to the big wheel.
"Okay, why don't I and Rach go to the big wheel and you to the roller coaster, this way we will all be happy." Kurt said.
"Okay, sounds good." Sam said.
"We can meet back here when we end." Rachel said.
"Okay." The rest of them said and they took separate ways. Kurt and Rachel had to wait for some minutes and then they went on the wheel. It was beautiful, they could see the whole city.
"Kurt what's going on between you and Blaine?" Rachel asked suddenly.
"Nothing."
"I see the way he looks at you and I see the way you look at him."
"It's nothing Rach really, I would never do anything, he is your brother and he lives in New York anyway."
"Yeah but he is here now."
"I'm confused you want us to be together or not?"
"No of course not, I just want to make sure you know that if anything happen between you two this summer will probably be nothing for Blaine, just a summer fling. I know how he treats boys, I may not talk to him a lot but every time I go to New York to visit him I see him with a different guy."
"Don't worry Rach, I know that type and I'm not planning on getting involved with him. I want romance, I want someone to take me on cute dates and to remind me every day that I'm beautiful and that he loves me."
"Aww that sounds perfect, you know you may find someone here. There are many cute guys you just haven't explored the city yet. You can go for a walk around, it's really beautiful and there's this ice cream place that would be perfect for a date."
"Don't raise my hopes Rach, I know it will probably never happen but maybe exploring the city is a good idea."
"Of course it's a good idea, I suggested it." Rachel said and Kurt laughed.
After about fifteen minutes they were all again at the spot from earlier.
"What are we gonna do now?" Blaine asked.
"I'm hungry, why don't we eat something?" Puck suggested.
"Yeah, I'm hungry too." Rachel said.
There were some canteens so they went to eat there. Puck, Sam and Rachel went for hot dogs but Kurt and Blaine wanted something sweet so they went for ice cream. They were waiting at the line and Kurt noticed some guys checking out Blaine.
"Blaine."
"Yes?"
"Those guys are checking you out." Blaine looked back at the guys and then turned his head at Kurt and smirked.
"Jealous?"
"What? No of course not, I'm just letting you know that you have options."
"Not interested."
"Why? They are hot."
"You are hotter."
"Blaine... nothing will happen between us."
"We will see about that."
"What do you guys want?" The guy who served the ice cream asked them.
"I want a chocolate ice cream ball and Kurt?" Blaine said.
"Um salted caramel please."
"Salted caramel?" Blaine said.
"It's my favorite flavor."
"I'll remember that."
"For what?"
"For our first date."
"I'm not gonna go out with you Blaine."
"I'll change your mind princess." Blaine said. Kurt reached for his wallet to pay for his ice cream but Blaine stopped him.
"I'll pay" Blaine said and Kurt didn't object.
