"Why don't you ever talk about Blaine?" Kurt asked. He and Rachel were already lying at their beds, wearing their pajamas and ready to go to sleep.
"I don't know, I guess I was a bit mad at him after he left. I mean, I know he had to go to college but when he left he stopped calling and visiting. I guess I just missed him and with the time that turned into anger."
"Is he... is he gay?" Kurt asked hesitantly.
"I thought it was obvious from the way he was looking at you." Rachel said and Kurt blushed "Wait. Don't tell me that you liked him."
"What? No, of course no." Kurt said quickly "And even if I did why are you so strict about it, I didn't complain when you got with a relationship with my brother."
"That's different, first of all Finn and I were together before your dad married Carole and he is a good guy, Blaine's not, he is going to hurt you, he is the one night stand type of guy."
"I see you have a very good opinion of your brother."
"It's not that I don't love him, I do love him but I love you too and I don't want to see you get hurt."
"I'm not a kid Rach, I can protect myself."
"I know, just be careful and stay away from Blaine."Kurt woke up the next morning before Rachel. He left the room quietly so he wouldn't wake her and he headed to the bathroom. But for his bad luck (or good) Blaine was leaving the bathroom at the same time and he had been probably showering because when Kurt saw him he only had a towel wrapped around his waist. Kurt was left speechless, Blaine's body was like the ones at ancient Greek statues, he was slightly tanned and water drops were falling at his body. His hair was messy and wet and god he looked so hot.
"Um I-." Kurt tried to continue the sentence but no words came from his mouth. Blaine smirked and Kurt blushed. Blaine stepped closer to him and whispered at his ear like last night."Maybe one time you will see me without the towel." Blaine said with a smooth voice that drove Kurt crazy and then walked away. Kurt was left there, he was standing still for some seconds processing what had just happened and then he snapped back to reality. He went to the bathroom and did his morning routine but the image of Blaine was still there at his mind, he didn't think it would leave for a while and he didn't want it to. After 15 minutes he went to the kitchen and fortunately Sam and Puck were there too because he couldn't face Blaine alone.
"Good morning." Kurt said quietly. Blaine turned his head and smiled at him. He was now dressed and he was cooking something. Puck and Sam were sitting on two chairs next to him talking about something.
"Good morning, is Rachel awake?" Blaine asked.
"No not yet, what um- what are you cooking?"
"Pancakes, it's your first day here so I thought you could enjoy a nice breakfast."
"Oh thank you." Kurt said and smiled.
"You can sit on the couch and I'll tell you when they are ready."
"Okay." Kurt said and did as told Maybe Blaine wasn't that bad after all."Dude what are you doing?" Puck asked Blaine once Kurt was out of the kitchen.
"What do you mean?"
"Why are you being so nice to him?"
"Don't tell me you like him." Sam said.
"What? no of course not, I just want to get laid." Blaine said casually, like he was used to say that a lot.
"Good, he is your sister's best friend and probably he is still in high school." Sam said.
"Yeah I know." Blaine said and glanced at Kurt. He was wearing some baggy sweatpants and a grey t-shirt and he looked adorable.
"Do I smell pancakes?" Blaine heard a voice saying at he turned his head to see Rachel standing at the stairs.
"Good morning Rachel." Blaine said.
"Mmh maybe if you cook me pancakes every day I can get used at living here with you."
"He didn't cook them for you." Puck said and pointed at Kurt who was now reading a magazine and he hadn't noticed Rachel.
"Blaine..."
"What? I'm just being nice, don't you want me to be nice?" Blaine said.
"Ugh fine." Rachel said and rolled her eyes.
"Okay breakfast is ready." Blaine said loudly so Kurt could hear him. Kurt left the magazine at the couch and went to the kitchen."Oh good morning Rach, I didn't notice you." Kurt said, he sat at a chair and then Rachel sat next to him. The others joined them and Blaine served breakfast. At first he went to sit next to Kurt but Rachel gave him a death glare and he changed his mind.
"So guys what are you going to do later?" Rachel asked.
"We are going to the beach, you can come if you want." Sam said.
"Ooh yes I love the beach, Kurt what are you saying?" Rachel said.
"You go, I think I'll stay here." Kurt said.
"Come on dude it's going to be fun." Puck said.
"First of all don't call me dude, and second I don't really like beaches, the water is usually cold and then there's the sand that sticks everywhere. I'll stay here and maybe I will swim at the pool." Kurt said.
"Okay Kurtie." Rachel said. They continued their breakfast and after two hours Blaine, Sam, Puck and Rachel went to the beach. Kurt stayed at the house alone. At first he sat and saw TV but the weather was so good outside so he decided to go and sit by the pool. He took his vogue magazine and lied at the sunbed. He got so absorbed at his magazine that he didn't hear footsteps approaching him.
"What are you reading princess?"
"Omg!" Kurt screamed, he turned quickly to see who it was but he accidentally fell off the sunbed. He was now lying at the grass and Blaine was trying to hold himself to not laugh.
"Are you gonna just stand there or are you gonna help me?" Kurt said and stretched his arm for Blaine to pull him up.
"Oh yes sorry." Blaine said, he took Kurt's hand and helped him get up "I didn't mean to scare you."
"What are you doing here? I thought you were at the beach."
"I was but I got bored, so I thought I could come back and give you some company."
"I'm okay alone thanks."
"Come on princess don't be rude."
"Don't call me that!" Kurt said annoyed.
"Are you so intense in bed too?" Blaine whispered.
"God you are disgusting, is sex all you think about?"
"When I'm with you yes."
"Okay stop just stop, I'm not gonna fall for you nor have sex with you, I just wanna spend those four months with my best friend before we go back to high school, can you please just be decent."
"Okay, just for the record, how old are you?"
"Eighteen."
"Good."
"Blaine!"
"Just in case, because the truth is that I don't think you are gonna last four months without wanting me."
"Try me." Kurt said, he felt Blaine's gaze starring at his lips. Blaine took a step closer and Kurt's heart started beating faster and faster.
"You asked for it." Blaine whispered at his ear and gave him a kiss at his neck. Kurt thought Blaine was gonna kiss him properly but instead he pulled away and went into the house. Kurt just stood there, feeling disappointed and, even if he didn't want to admit it, hard, because as much as Blaine annoyed him he wanted to taste those lips more than anything.
