Not just a summer fling

Part 5

"Omg this dress is amazing, what do you think Kurt?" Rachel said holding a cute dress, it was yellow with small white flowers. They were currently at the third shop. There weren't many shops because her house wasn't at the center of California but the couple of shops they had visited before had really cute things and they were already holding three bags each.
"Cute, you should try it." Kurt said and Rachel went into the changing rooms to try it. When she came out Kurt was stunned.
"Wow you look so beautiful Rach, you should definitely buy it."
"Thank you, I think I will."
They continued shopping for three more hours and by the time they had finished they were both dead tired. They decided to go eat something and they found a small burger diner. They ordered two cheeseburgers and fries and then they started talking. Mostly about plans for the next days.
"Omg I have an idea!" Rachel said "We should do a karaoke night, I think I have a microphone in my room and we can find the songs at YouTube. You, me and Blaine can definitely sing and I think the others can pull out some notes. What do you think?"
"You know what? It's actually a really good idea, we can order pizza and we can do it like a competition. We will vote for each other and whoever wins will have a prize."
"What prize?"
"I don't know but we can discuss it with the others and find something."
"What about tonight? We can buy some snacks on our way back."
"Yes, it is going to be amazing." Kurt said and smiled.

"We are gonna do what?" Puck asked. Kurt and Rachel had just returned home and they told guys their idea.
"Karaoke." Kurt said excited.
"I'm not singing." Puck said.
"Come on, you can't be so bad." Rachel said.
"He is not, I have heard him singing in some parties while he was drunk." Blaine said "Sam can too."
"I'm in." Sam said.
"Ok fine, I'm in too but only if the prize is good." Puck said.
"We haven't actually found the prize." Rachel said.
"Seven minutes in heaven with me." Blaine said and winked at Kurt.
"And what if I win, or Puck or Sam?" Rachel said.
"You won't, Kurt will." Blaine said and Kurt blushed.
"Yeah whatever, now about the prize, and no Blaine we won't do seven minutes in heaven with you." Rachel said.
"I have an idea, the winner can choose what we are gonna do tomorrow and the rest of us we will have to do whatever the winner says, even if we don't like it." Sam said.
"That's actually a good idea." Kurt said.
"Ok great, we have the prize. We can start the competition at the evening." Rachel said and smiled.

They started the karaoke at 8pm. They had bought popcorns and chips and they also had some beers. Rachel started first, she sang "My heart will go on" and she got 9 from Kurt and Sam and 8 from Blaine and Puck. Next was Puck, he sang "Sweet Caroline" and he got 6 from Rachel, 7 from Kurt and 8 from Sam and Blaine. Then it was Sam who sang "Sign of the times" and he got 8 from all of them. When it was Blaine's turn Kurt felt butterflies at his stomach and he hated that feeling because he wasn't supposed to feel that way about Blaine but he couldn't help it. Blaine chose to sing "You are the reason" and he looked at Kurt during the whole song. Kurt was speechless, Blaine sang so beautifully and it made him even more attractive and then it was the song, Kurt couldn't stop wondering if the song was for him and god knows how much he wanted it to be. Eventually Rachel, Sam and Puck gave him 9 and when Kurt gave him 10 Blaine smiled at him. Now it was Kurt's turn, he sang "Too good at goodbyes" and Blaine was stunned as well. When the voting time came he gained 10 from Blaine of course, 9 from Rachel and Sam and 8 from Puck.
"Now the results!" Rachel said and started counting the points "Ok fifth is Puck with 29, fourth is Sam with 32, third is me with 34, second is Kurt with 36 and the winner is Blaine with 37."
"Get ready to have fun tomorrow." Blaine said and winked again at Kurt.
"Oh no should I be afraid?" Kurt said.
"You'll see tomorrow princess."
"That was really fun guys, we can continue. Not as competition, let's drink some beers get a little drunk and have some fun." Puck said.
"I agree with Puck." Blaine said and went to the kitchen, when he returned to the living room he was holding five bottles of beer.

They started drinking and after thirty minutes all of them were little drunk. They had sung plenty of songs and many duets, they danced and laughed. Blaine made some attempts towards Kurt but Kurt wasn't that drunk to let him.
"Kurtieeee, let's sing a duet." Blaine said and took Kurt's hand.
"Um I don't think so."
"Come on, maybe I'll find an opportunity to tap that cute ass of yours."
"Blaine!" Rachel yelled from where she was sitting.
"It's not my fault, he is wearing those tight jeans." Blaine said, he bit his lip and took a minute to stare at Kurt's ass.
"So it's my fault?" Kurt said.
"Exactly." Blaine said. He grabbed Kurt from the waist and pulled closer to him "Don't you want to sing with me princess?" He whispered at his ear and all Kurt wanted to do was kiss him but he couldn't, he knew that it was all a game for Blaine "Please just one song." Blaine said and gave him those puppy eyes that Kurt hadn't seen before and he couldn't say no.
"Okay fine, but hands off."
"Deal." Blaine said and raised his hands "Sam put "Rewrite the stars"." He said to Sam and then turned to Kurt "I hope you know it."
"I do." Kurt said and suddenly started feeling uncomfortable because it was a romantic song.
"Great." Blaine said and after some seconds the song started being played. Blaine sang Zac Efron's part and Kurt Zendaya's. When they finished the song somehow they had end up so close that Kurt could feel Blaine's breath. For a moment he thought they would kiss but then he felt two arms pulling them apart.
"We said hands off!" Rachel said and Blaine rolled his eyes.
"Another time princess."
