The Mask She Wore

Chapter Four

Before I start this chapter, hello everyone! Sorry I wasn't updating I'm not on summer break yet but I felt bad so here is a new chapter <3

I decided to return to Mayuko and Yuri when I heard them babbling about being allies and what not.

"Just know if things get too risky I may end up betraying you." 

Mayuko that is NOT how you get a girlfriend even with my lack of experience I know that </3. She caught me staring and I just rolled my eyes and proceeded to swing my weapon around because why not.

I glanced back towards them when Mayuko was focused on Yuri, its so obvious they like eachother like c'mon people get it together.

Yuri all of a sudden made a aha sound "Guys I know what we need to do!" I stared at her questionly.

"And what might that be?" I said while continuing on the suspension bridge.

"We need to steal the helicopter :D" I froze and Mayuko looked like she wanted to say something but it was Yuri so that wasn't going to happen. Ugh simp

"I'm sorry you want to steal a..helicopter?" She turned in my direction and smiled

"Thats exactly what I want too do its our only way out afterall." 

"Screw it I'm in but I call flying." 

"Do you even know how to fly a helicopter y/n?" Mayuko questioned me, now of course I didn't so I simply responded.

"Of course not silly even if I did know I lost most of my memories remember <3"

"Then wont you kill us y/n-" Yuri said while slowing down to talk to me.

"You'll be fine I'll just learn on the spot.." I mumbled while following behind Yuri and Mayuko.

"Okay guys lets rest here for the night, this grass should be good enough to sleep on" Mayu instructed

"Fine with me" I yawned and plopped down onto the fake grass and as Yuri and Mayu were talking I drifted off to sleep.

In the morning after we gathered our things a mask came towards us, though it looked like it had no intention to kill. But rather it brought us food?

"FOOD I DON'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I ATE GOOD FOOD- though that may be because I don't remember much ;-;"

There was also a knife located in the bag the neutral mask left for us. I assumed Mayuko would take it seeing as her eyes lit up at the very sight of it.

"Okay lets keep going" Yuri said while grabbing Mayu's hand. I'm the side character in their romance story smh.

As they were walking ahead this strange mask appeared hanging over the side of the building. I was just slightly scared. Now man was speaking french and as an intellectual I could understand he was saying hello when he uttered the word

"Bonjour~" and of course I tried to run but he had no respect so he grabbed my arm and then threw me off the building because why not <3

"Aurivour" he said as I was slammed through a window.

Now this man sounded like a psycho and referred to himself as Mr. Chef mask. He was randomly giggling so I was already feeling uneasy.

"Hm you're a mask but you walked so casually with the humans is your face perhaps broken too~" I shivered at his voice it just overall gave me the creeps.

"Your mask doesn't have control of you aswell?" I questioned unsurely

"Correct one point for you! My mask had something wrong with it so I've been able to hold my own will" he giggled while tossing his saw around.

"I think you'll do nicely" he spoke positively while reaching towards his bag.

"What do you mean by th-" severed heads were tossed towards me as old blood splattered the room. My eyes widened as I felt my knees wanting to give out.

The eyes of the dead stared at me lifelessly, they were almost speaking to me..I could hear faint footsteps but the voices were so loud I couldn't focus.

When all of a sudden a tall masked woman dressed in a casino dealer outfit came through the door.

"Hello there y/n oh and unstable mask. It is my duty to exterminate you as I have heard you've been disrupting the experiment Mr.Chef mask." He froze in his place as her gun was pointed directly at his head.

"Ah this is truly disappointing I would've liked to see your potential, oh well." She shot him multiple times in the stomach before turning her attention towards me.

"Feel free to use that mask however you wish y/n, it was lovely meeting you but I must be going so I don't murder your friends."

"Uh thank you I guess" I said as she was leaving the room.

"Just don't almost get yourself killed again."
