Chapter Five

I stared at the woman as she was walking towards the door. Her long black hair was tied up in loose ponytail, I couldn't take my eyes off her..

"Hey wait!" I say stubbornly as I reached to grab her arm.

She stops in her tracks, looking down at me as if she were mocking me. I wanted answers.

"Who are you..?" I ask her curiously while studying her mask. She let out a noise that could almost be considered a laugh.

"Poor little Y/n. What, do you need me to solve all your problems for you?" My breathe hitched as I felt her hand crawling towards my hair. Shivers ran up my spine as she twirled it around her fingers.

"Enough! Answer my question." I say while standing my ground, attempting to gain some sort of answer. Instead her hand snaked it's way to my chin, forcing me to look at her.

"In due time darling. Until then try not to cause too much trouble." I blushed lightly and was about to say something but before I could she had disappeared.

"What the fuck?" I mumbled to myself before glancing at the discarded mask from Mr. Chef. I quickly grabbed it and shoved it into my bag before returning to Yuki and Mayu.

I finally find the two of them and roll my eyes in annoyance. "Thanks for helping me guys." Yuki gives me an apologetic look while Mayu looks like she couldn't give a rat's ass about what could have happened to me.

"We're sorry we tried to find you but we had to deal with a mask on our own." Yuki said while frowning.

"It's fine, no harm done plus I had help." I blush lightly at the thought of the mysterious mask and cough awkwardly. They look at me suspiciously but decided not to pry more.

"Oh! Also we found a poster that someone posted looking for help so we decided to go look for them even if Mayu thinks it's a trap. We should get going, we need to get to that building as fast as possible." Yuki pointed out while picking up her belongings. Yuki smiles at me and I can feel Mayu's glare.

"Yes ma'am." I say jokingly as we continue to walk along bridges towards the black building.

We finally reach a bridge that looks like it directly connects to a building's interior.

"Well if that isn't an invitation to enter I don't know what is." I say while beginning to walk across the bridge, Mayu and Yuki following behind me.

Once we're finally inside we look around in shock. It looked like a cheap run-down hotel.

"I guess it's a hotel..?" Yuki says as if she wasn'texpecting such a strange sight.

"It isn't a nice one, I'm not paying for this." I say while blowing away dust on a light.

"Y/n, there's no money here." Mayu says as I shoot her a glare. She was ruining my fun.

"You won't get bitches with that attitude Mayu." I laughed and glanced towards Yuki, making sure that Mayu knew I wasn't as stupid as she thought I was. Blush raced to her cheeks as she angrily stared at me, not daring to say anything.

"Enough guys let's just keep going" Yuki looks at us disappointedly and we both frown at her before nodding. As we continue to walk through the hallway something doesn't feel right.

All of a sudden Mayu is grabbed from behind. I reach out to try and help her but all of a sudden we're surrounded.

"Lower your weapons now." Someone behind us says and I see him pointing a gun at us. Yuki and I listen as another man holds Mayu captive.

The man suddenly smirks "I've gotta ask, did you come here because of the poster inviting you to the black building?"

I raised my eyebrow in curiosity. "The flyer said you were peaceful but it doesn't really look like that right now."

They glared at me as I shrugged my shoulders. "We are peaceful! Matsumoto let the blonde go. We're all just looking for a way out of this world."

I glanced towards Yuki, I could tell she didn't trust them. All of a sudden a young mask came walking towards us. My eyes widened as I stared at the little girl, no one that age should be here. I unconsciously took a step towards her when all of a sudden a gun went off. Three bullets pierced the little girl and I watched her fall down before directing my rage to the man who claimed to want a peaceful escape.

For some reason, I felt like they wouldn't be letting us go anytime soon.
