I'm guessing everyone has that one person who they like but are ti scared to tell the person how you truly feel and secretly hope that one day you and that person will become more than just friends.
It might be the one you trust the most, the one that makes you feel safe and protects you in as many ways as possible. To Cayls it was her best friend in her class who was this person for her even tho he made it crystal clear that they would never be more than friends, he still told her that he loved her and cared about her.
Something that meant more than the world to her was the fact that he said she deserved better than the guy who cheated on her but not that he would ever date her but ge would walk out of the earth for her.
He usually was an ass toward most of his friends but when it came to Cayls he was alot nicer to her than with others and the way that he always knew if something was wrong and what that something was that was wrong with no explanation needed, he was just there fir her no matter what.
She apriciated it a lot. She also loved having him around on bad days 'cause he always had a way to make her smile and or laugh and that made her day everyday.
She couldn't think of a better person to tell everything wothout having to explain just cause he understood and knew what was going on.
Just as much as he loved making her mad as well as teasing her, she loved looking for trouble when it came to him, making jokes and having fun when things were going well. Even though she smiled most of the time he could imiditly notice if it was a faje smile or a smile that was ment for him to say, "Hey don't worry I'm okay" in a playful way.
Sure they are just friends but they did love each other and well she didn't know what she would do without him, his goofyness, him always making comments on what others had to say under his breath soft enough that no one could hear him but loud enough that she could hear him.
She never thought she would find a guy like this and have him as a best friend.
