Seonghwa watched the boy smile even bigger and get up, heading back into the house. The ravenette sighed a long painful sigh, how could he tell the younger he had singlehandedly ripped his heart from his chest all the while smiling at him with the most beautiful smile he has ever seen.
He stayed outside a few more minutes before making his way back into the house, when he came in he saw Jongho, Yunho and Hongjoong playing UNO with cards that were in surprisingly good shape. San and Mingi were playing tic-tac-toe on a blank piece of paper sitting at the dining table and Yeosang was sitting on the couch next to Wooyoung.
Yeosang chuckled and pushed Wooyoung off of the couch, the blonde playfully growled at him before going to sit back next to him.
"Why does Seonghwa look so serious? Look at him just standing there" Wooyoung asked him.
"Who knows" Yeosang said but then stopped to think about it. "I did just talk to him a few minutes ago"
"What did you tell him?"
"That I value our friendship too much to keep on feeling this way,no more stupid feelings like jealousy and such"
"It's probably that then" Wooyoung said, bobbing his head.
"Why? You know it really ruins a friendship, those feelings that you can't really pin point. If you don't know what it is, ignore it"
"Yeosang, you're so bad at this, it amazes me"
Yeosang rolled his eyes and pushed poor Wooyoung once again.
"Stop doing that!" The blonde laughed but stayed on the ground this time.
"San keeps on looking at you, you two should talk. Straighten things out" Yeosang whispered in his ear.
"I don't know, maybe"
"You should, like me and Seonghwa"
"Oh I hope not" Wooyoung whispered as he watched San make his way over to where he was.
"Woo, can we talk?"
"Yeah, we should" The younger looked at the brunette who threw a thumbs up. He mentally facepalmed and followed his friend outside the house.
At first no one spoke, San really didn't know how to start the conversation and Wooyoung didn't know what to expect of this exchange but something told him he wouldn't like it. The ravenette laid against the one of the post of the porch and looked at the bad lit street.
"If it's that's hard to say out loud I already know what you want to tell me, San" Wooyoung spoke not taking the silence any longer.
"I'm sorry, Wooyoung. It started great but now, now all that I feel is anger or pain when you walk in the room. You're not patient with me, you're not caring or attentive and you expect too much of me. I can't give you what you seem to want, I thought I could be the guy that would give you his everything, but I was wrong"
No matter how much it hurt him to hear the elder say those things, Wooyoung accepted the truth silently.
"Well, aren't you going to say anything?" San asked after some moments of silence.
"What is there to say? You've said it all"
"Wooyoung..."
"No, I get it. Friends it is" His voice cracked betraying the pain he was feeling deep inside, but when the elder came to comfort him, Wooyoung turned around and entered the house, immediately searching comfort in the company of his friends and their ignorance about the amount of hurt he was feeling at the moment.
San knew he hurt the boy but couldn't think of a way that didn't happen. Their pseudo-relationship had been rocky since the start and even though it wasn't the future he had hoped for them, it looked like it was the future they were going to get.
He waited some more before coming back in, once he did, he saw Wooyoung was sound already asleep, rolled up between Yunho and Yeosang. Mingi was also asleep, holding Hongjoong in his arms, Seonghwa was laying down in a sleeping bag listening to music with his eyes closed and Jongho was fast asleep in another sleeping bag.
He sighed and went up the stairs and opened the door to Yeosang's bedroom. Taking off his pants and putting on a pair of joggers, he changed his shirt as well before slipping under the covers. He laid down in bed, the night was dark and the sheets were cold, never had he felt so alone.
