THIRD PERSON POV
Taehyun looked at Seokjin and nodded as Seokjin then switched the lights on.
"This is where Jimin used to stay in. It's kinda dark and pretty much reeks in here, probably because it hasn't been touched since. You can collect his clothes or anything that he has left here," Seokjin explained and Taehyun nodded before walking inside, and Seokjin closes the door.
He walks towards the room and examines it before nodding to himself.
"I'm not in charge of the proof-collecting. My job here is to just ask some questions regarding your relations with Mr. Park. That job is assigned for someone else, if it is comfortable with you, I'd like to bring the team here and collect more evidence," Taehyun said and Seokjin hummed as he placed a finger on his chin.
"I can't do that sadly. My privacy and my business is my top priority. I can't help you and I don't care about that case. All I can do is that you take your evidence and leave," Seokjin smiles happily before staring at the young detective.
"Mr. Kim, we need to focus on the objective and for the better. Sadly I can't act on my own since I am a rookie and my superiors will do more of the job whether you like it or not," Taehyun responded.
"And what about if you're a rookie? Isn't it better to take care of it yourself, you know... money and stuff? High recognition from your colleagues? Isn't that beautiful?" Seokjin beamed and Taehyun's brow twitched.
"I do, but I'm not that selfish. I just want to do what is right and my limits on my job. So I'll be going now since I've accomplished mine," Taehyun said before placing his clipboard down, looking at the older man before walking towards the door opening it before leaving Seokjin alone.
As Taehyun made his way towards the exit, parting the curtain to the side, he looked back at the man who he was with earlier, and his brows knitted together even more before slowly exiting, leaving the premise.
Now that he noticed, not much people would go into the carnival, except if there was a show. The circus was one of the most anticipated events in Seoul and people would come every Friday and Monday to see it. Not much would even participate in games.
Then why would Seokjin care so much about his business?
YEONHAE POV
After we heard Taehyun walk out, Jimin grabbed my arm before pulling me out of the backstage, soon seeing Seokjin who was staring at the curtain opening, his smile replaced with a stoic expression.
"Pain in the ass that kid is," he muttered before looking at Jimin, his eyes had the murderous look on his face and I could tell something did fuck up while they were talking.
"What is it, Jin hyung? And why didn't you take care of him?" Jimin asked and Seokjin rolled his eyes.
"That bastard is a detective, and if we kill a detective, we're done for because he disappeared. It's better to just not act suspicious. Even though I do have an urge to do something to him," Seokjin said and Jimin nodded before turning to me.
"That's enough practice, you should go and rest. Practice will begin tomorrow, just don't do anything that pisses Seokjin off even more, okay?" Jimin told me as he let me go, and I nodded slowly before taking myself to the backstage and into the rooms.
As I opened my door and closed it, I dumped myself on the bed before groaning, mentally screaming.
This is driving me insane.
Why would I get myself into them out of all people?
And if I escape I'll die and if I stay here I'll also probably die if I don't satisfy them or something.
And what about my parents? I miss mom and dad and I promised to give them money for their bills.
I sighed to myself as I groaned again, looking at the ceiling.
Alright Yeonhae, you need a plan.
I don't want my life to end with these psychopaths. I still need to do things and enjoy my life.
I can't let it all waste like that.
I need to escape, then I'll report them to the police. I need to... it's all for dad and mom...
...but I'll probably die if I fail.
I'll die because of them when I escape and I don't know what they'll do to me as long as I'm alive.
I just need to try and escape.
Or maybe... I can try to understand them... why they're doing horrible things.
I need to plan this out wisely.
But now, just don't rush.
I sighed deeply before sitting up, looking at the door before looking down at myself, then mustering up all the courage I have.
Then, I walked towards the door before leaning my ear against it.
"Jin hyung, just calm down. You know you can just do a mass murder anytime."
"Nope Namjoon! That guy gets on my nerves and someday when I meet him I will be the one to end his fucking life."
"I know we're having dillemas and all right now but that is the least of them! Focus! We have a person we abducted and now who knows what the fuck she'll do."
"I don't care about her. Jimin was the one who said that we'd give her a chance! I don't give a flying shit about how she'll end up! Unless she tries to escape."
"Yeah, that'll be bad. But you need rest right, I'll tell Yoongi to get you a cup of soup or something."
As the other door creaked and footsteps were heard, my heart was pounding as I heard the footsteps fading, I looked down at the floor, biting my bottom lip.
Then suddenly, my eyes widened as the door opened quickly, and I jolted backwards as my body hit the floor, and I winced in pain.
"Oops, sorry," the figure said before inviting themselves in, looking at the blank wall before staring down at me.
"Wh-what are you doing here?" I managed to ask, scared I might get killed at the moment.
"I'm here... to give you some soup. Don't get me wrong, we kidnapped you or whatever but we can't afford to let our best performer die of hunger," he said as he stood infront of me.
I stayed silent, looking at the man infront of me as fear began to grow inside of me, I don't even have the guts to pick myself up from the floor.
Not when I saw such a gruesome sight he did a few hours ago.
"If you're scared then you're doing that for nothing, I mean no absolute harm to you now whatsoever. So eat your soup before it gets cold. And were you... eavesdropping?" The black and white haired man asked as his black and white eyes stared at me.
"N-no," I responded, looking at him. And he sighed before placing the bowl of soup down before me.
"I'm not mad. So go ahead and sit down. I'll probably get some more blankets and pillows for you," Yoongi said as he dusted his thick and black sweater before walking out, making me confused as ever.
What... was that?
Was that really Yoongi?
