HEY YALL! It's been like 4 months and you know at this point I really don't know what to say- BUT SURPRISE??? I decided I wanted to finish this story because I know some of you really liked the story. I think this might be the last chapter and the ending to the story because Idek what to write after this... I mean I'll take suggestions so leave them in the comments if you'd like. Anyways... ENJOY!!

Kuroo took Kenma back to his house to explain everything in clear details to his mom and boyfriend. Suki couldn't even leave them alone even when she's in jail. At least her friend, Amaya, has more decency than her. Thinking about it made Kuroo rage. Putting everything aside he took a deep breathe to calm himself down. Kuroo's mom put out the rest of the dishes for dinner and they ate together. Kenma still felt a little sad after dinner so he decided to play some games after helping Kuroo wash the dishes. Plopping onto the couch and letting out a heavy sigh, Kuroo noticed Kenma's mood. Sitting down next to Kenma he asked,
"Hey... what's wrong?" Wrapping his arm around Kenma in a comforting motion, pulling Kenma in. Kenma stayed quiet for a minute then looked up. Tears started forming in his eyes as thoughts about losing Kuroo came back to him.
"I just thought I really lost you but now you're back and I'm really happy." Kenma sniffled and rubbed his eyes.
Kuroo saw how much Kenma had went through and wished he had done something different. "I promise you I will never leave you."
Feeling a little more reassured, Kenma sat up and wipe away his tears. Suddenly Kuroo's face lit from an idea that popped into his head.
Missing each other's touch, they cuddled until Kenma fell asleep that night. After Kenma was sound asleep, Kuroo snuck out of his room and went over to his mom's. Knocking, he asked. "Mom, are you awake?" His mom opened the door confused. She let him in her room and asked what was wrong. Kuroo smiled softly and said. "I want to get a promise ring for Kenma."
His mom's eyes widened, then a smirk spread across her face in amusement. "Oh? And why are you telling me this?"
Kuroo sheepishly looked away. "Well I would like you to help."
Kuroo's mom started chuckling. Seeing her son so in love made her so happy. She quickly agreed and went to grab a magazine. They spent a good amount of time looking at rings until Kuroo finally found the perfect one. Kuroo didn't want to get one that look too overly complicated so he wanted get a simple band and have their names carved into the ring. Kuroo would keep the ring that has Kenma's name and Kenma would keep his. It was a promise Kuroo was would last a lifetime.
Kuroo thanked his mom after hours of looking at pictures and went back to his room. He quietly got back to his side of the bed but the movement of the sheets woke Kenma up. "Where did you go?" Kenma asked sleepily as Kuroo laid down next to him snuggling in with Kenma.
"Oh, I was just taking to my mom about something. Don't worry." Kuroo said as he took Kenma into his arms. Kenma fell fast back asleep know Kuroo was by his side.

"He'll never love you! He never had and never will!" A voice growled in the darkness.
"He's all mine do you hear me? I'm going to kill you." The voice continued.
Kenma was frantic, he looked around and around for Kuroo but all he saw was darkness. He screamed out Kuroo's name, calling for help. "Kuroo! Kuroo! Where are you?" He cried.
"I told you! He only loves me! No one else!"
Kenma continued to run into the emptiness calling out to his beloved one's name. No one answered him. As he was about to give up, Kuroo appeared in front of him. But he was walking in the hallway of their high school. Kenma was about to run up to him but then he saw a familiar face run up and grabbed Kuroo's arm. Her smile looked innocent and sweet but Kenma saw the way she smirked at him and mouthed. "He only loves me." As she took him away.
"Kuroo! Kuroo! KUR-" Kenma screamed after him as he dropped down and started sobbing.

"-ROO" Kenma jolted up from and the bed. His face was wet with tears that had came from his dream. He quickly turned around to see Kuroo waking up from Kenma's sudden ruckus.
"Kenma? Are you okay?" Kuroo rubbed his eyes as he turned on the lamp beside him.
Kenma suddenly hugged Kuroo as he started sobbing. "I had a nightmare..." he explained. "It was Suki telling me you didn't love me and you only love her. She took you away from me!" Kenma cried and he hugged Kuroo tighter. Kuroo took a deep breath and shushed Kenma trying to comfort him. They sat there until Kenma got all of his emotions out as Kuroo rubbed his back. When Kenma was done crying, Kuroo sat him straight up and said, "I will always stay by your side, I will never leave you. Okay?" Kuroo said sternly as he stared into Kenma's eyes. Kenma sniffled and nodded as they laid back down. Both of them went back to sleep in the embrace of one another feeling comforted knowing they were there.

The next day was exciting for Kuroo because he knew he had a big surprise for Kenma. They woke and ate breakfast as they got ready to go out for the day. Kenma waved goodbye to Kuroo's mom and the way out as she winked at him giving him two thumbs up. He was confused on what that was about but decided to ignore it anyways. Kuroo took Kenma around the city making sure Kenma remembered all of their good times and their memorable places they've been to. Especially where they had their practice games and would make out in the supply closet. Kuroo would always laugh about it and would never let Kenma forget. It's a way to tease Kenma and make him feel embarrassed. They visited their favorite cafe where the whole team would usually hangout for a drink after practice. All of this reminded Kenma of things were so much better when Kuroo still went to high school. Since that has passed it can only be part of their memories. At the end of the day, Kuroo took Kenma back to the hill with the tree on top where they had confessed to each other. The place that was most special to them. He took Kenma hand and pulled out the box where the jewelry had been.
"This is something I'm giving you to always remind you that I'm always yours. No matter how much we go through, I will always be there for you. I'm always with you and no one can tear us apart. This is something I want you to have until the day we decide to get married. I love you Kenma." Kuroo took out the ring and put it on Kenma's finger. Caught by surprise, Kenma didn't know how to respond. He was in complete utter shock. He instantly wrapped his arms around Kuroo's neck.
"Thank you Kuroo! I love it!" Kenma cried of happiness.
"I promise that I will never leave you." Kuroo whispered.

I did not go back and edit and revised it because it's like almost 1 am and I'm honestly too lazy to go back and reread it so I'm sorry if there's any mistakes.
And Well... I feel like this is the ending of the story... honestly I feel like it's a pretty decent ending even tho it does feel a bit rushed at the end. Honestly I could do one more chapter with a time skip but let me know if you guys actually want it. I feel like this is a good closing to the story and I hope you enjoyed this fanfic! I'm also sorry it took like almost a whole year to finish but yea :)
