Finishing up school, the petite schoolgirl picked all her things up ready to go home.

"Did you see the new girl? She's cute." Murmurs went across the sports teams mouths. Staying in her lane, Shinobu didn't bother.

"Hi! You're the new girl aren't you? I'm Mitsuri Kanroji! Oh and over there is my friend Iguro!!" A pink to green haired girl approached her energetically. "Ah sorry I'm so jumpy! I really like meeting new people!"

"Ah, it's fine! I'm Shinobu Kocho."

"Your name is so pretty! Let's take a detour together and get some dango!" Mitsuri hung onto her arm.

"Sure! Also are you familiar with Tomioka-Senpai from Second year?"

"Tomioka...Tomioka..Oh you mean Giyuu? Nobody likes him for some reason but I think he's quite cool!"

"I sat with him at lunch, should we invite him?"

"Of course! I'll invite my friends too!!"

Everybody sat down at a table, Mitsuri invited a few other people alongside Giyuu.

"Alright everybody! This is the new girl Shinobu Kocho!! Shinobu, meet Iguro, Sabito, Makomo and of course Tomioka!!"

Smiling awkwardly, she opened the menu and gazed on the options.

"Kanroji-chan, theres so many options I don't know what to pick..!" Shinobu chuckled nervously, it's only her first day and she's slightly overwhelmed by the amount of people.

"Kinako Dango is good." Giyuu spoke up.

"Ehhh? I personally think Sanshoku or Mitarashi are the best flavors! I have a big sweet tooth!"

"I'll just have what you guys have."

Looking around the shop, she spotted another student with the school uniform.

"Kanroji-chan, who is he? He's wearing our uniform."

"Hm? Oh him! He's Doma-Senpai. He's a senior and is on the sports team because of his height. I wouldn't bother with him though, he's a perverted idiot."

"Perverted?"

"He tried hitting on me when I wasn't interested, our age gap is gross anyway. Luckily I just had to give him a hard smack in the face and he moved on. I think I almost fractured his jaw."

Feeling out of place, the group chatted about the usual and shared each other some posts on social media.

"Ooh, how about we go to the mall after we eat? It's only 2:40!"

"Kya!! All the clothes here are so cute!" Mitsuri fangirled, eventually leading the group inside a clothing shop with pink and pastel dresses.

"You can pick something out Kanroji, I'll pay." Iguro suggested.

She stood besides Giyuu awkwardly as Mitsuri frolicked looking at clothes. "Everything's so pretty! I can't choose!"

"You can pick something out too, I'll pay for yours."

"Ah- Thats not needed, we only just met today. Plus this store isn't really my style."

"Then what's your style?"

"I like modern fashion, and tech-wear."

He walked over to Sabito, "I'm going to another store with Kocho, we'll be back quickly."

"And she doesn't concern you doesn't she?" Sabito teased his best friend.

"It's not like that."

"Alright loner, I'll let everyone know."

The two walked to a different shop. Giyuu had perfect posture and a strange demeanor. Almost made it look like he was her bodyguard as they walked side by side.

Gazing at the clothing options, she picked out a blouse and some trousers.

"I'll pay, this store is expensive. Do you want anything?"

"Just this T-Shirt I picked out. We can pay separately."

The cashier scanned their items and bagged them, "Are you paying together or separately?"

"Together."

"Wait-"

Sliding his credit card on the counter, it was paid for like nothing.

That was 3000 Yen. You could've let me paid.

"It's just a welcome gift. Don't daunt over it."

Frustrated, she eventually gave up on repaying him. They headed back together with the group and walked around a bit.

"Oh I forgot to tell you Shinobu! You should try out for cheerleading! I'm on the team and you seem pretty athletic so I'm sure you'll do great!"

"I'll think about it."

Lastly, the group headed to a bookstore before the Mall was gonna close.

Mitsuri went straight to the notebooks and pen stationary as Shinobu looked at the books.

"Anything you like?"

"Actually, yeah." She reached up and brought down a 4th Volume of her favorite book. "I was looking for this book! I couldn't find volume 4 for so long, It's a romantic historical-fiction! It's based durning the Taisho Era where Demon Slayers and Demons existed. The main characters are fictional but it still amazes me."

"Alright let's go pay then."

"I'll pay for myself this time, I don't want you to pull that thing again."

As they chatted between the book shelves for a moment, they heard a phone camera click.

Sabito and Makomo were watching them from afar.

Giyuu face palmed as Shinobu just stood their confused.

"Go away guys." He said in a dismissive tone. The two snuck off giggling.

After paying, "Wanna get dinner together? I'm sure our parents wouldn't mind being a little late home."

"Sorry, I'll have to pass. My stomach hurts so I'll just head home."

"Aww! Alright then, see you tomorrow Shinobu!"

"I'll walk her home."

"Bye everyone!" She walked into the parking lot and waved.

"You can go get dinner with them, I'm fine walking home alone."

"The sun already set, I'll walk you anyway."
