"I just can't seem to get her alone, she's always with that annoying dude. He always manages to spot me." He talked over the phone.
"Yeah yeah. Well I do really like her. What? Sneak into her house? Then what? Please, I bet he even sleeps at her house." The man typed onto his laptop.
"Even at school she's never alone." Glaring at the collection of stalker photos he took of her on his pin board.
Clicking his pen, he jotted down some thoughts.
...
First day of school, the wind is a breeze and she's standing outside on her front porch. Waiting for her 'prince charming' to come pick her up.He pulled up on his motorcycle, blowing the leaves on the ground away.
"Uh are you sure you have a license for this?"
Handing her a helmet, "Well to be completely honest I don't have my license, but I've been learning to drive this thing since I could walk and I've never been pulled over. Assuming that I drive like a professional."
Nervously, he held her waist to help her get on the motorcycle before he got on himself.
She held onto his waist tightly as he began to drive.
Well, awkwardly this is the first time he has taken the bike to school and with someone on it.
She squeezed him tighter than before as they got into the highway fearing that she might fall off.
Stopping at a red light, "Are you alright back there? You seem a bit nervous."
"mhm" She mumbled knowing that she was terrified from motion sickness.
Well for the benefit of the doubt, she enjoyed riding the motorcycle with him to school. The motion factor was just not the best to her.
Another red light, "Seriously, are you alright because I can feel your sweat and tears drip onto my shirt."
Mustering up some courage n , "I'm alright!"
The moment she clutched his shirt was when they finally arrived at their school building.
A big poster welcoming the new and old students, some random students stared at them as he helped her get off the motorcycle as well.
"I'm ahead of my grade but you're a 3rd year and I'm a 2nd we'll only see each other durning break time.."
"It'll be alright, we can tutor each other after school and durning breaks. Did you eat breakfast yet?"
"Not exactly, why?" She was busy rushing because she knew he'd pick her up today.
"I'll get you something from a vending machine,You shouldn't do anything on an empty stomach."
Comparing each other schedules, they saw that the had the same Gym class, lunch period and Math class. It was inevitable since she was ahead of her grade. Hopefully Sabito and Makomo are there to accompany them.
Stopping for a moment, she rustled through a bag and pulled out a bag of cookies that she had baked for him. It was both a welcome to the school year, and a thank you for well the ride and everything else they've done together. A very small but delightful thank you.
"I don't like sweet things." He coldly remarked not realizing how rude it sorta sounded.
Slightly hurt, "Just try them! They're my grandmas recipe and I spent all night trying to perfect the recipe."
"No thanks." He walked past her reaching for his locker.
Her eyes felt slightly watered knowing it wasn't a big deal. But seriously she spent all night on these for him. He could at least try it.
She wiped her eyes with her sleeves trying to stop getting water drops. It wasn't a big deal she kept telling herself but it kinda hurt the way he said it.
Putting her bag away, she pinched herself with her nails to prevent the unworthy tears.
Heading to her first class, she passed by Douma. Confused since he was a senior, he should've already graduated. She approached him.
"Hey? Didn't we meet last year?"
"Oh hi! Shinobu right?" He talked as if he wasn't stalking her for months. His perverted eyes went to places they shouldn't.
Uncomfortable tension was created, "Didn't you graduate? What are you still doing here?"
"I work here. Teachers assistant. I didn't feel like going to University so I decided to settle down back here."
"And you qualify for that?"
"Well, not really. Between me and you I lied on my resume. But most of the things I said I learned professionally I know the basics of."
"Okay..we'll I should be heading to class. See you."
"I'll walk you to class. You moved her last year and I know the whole building by heart so let me take you." He took her schedule out of her hands without asking first.
"Ohh, Gym first. How unfortunate. Let's head to the stadium shall we?" Grabbing her arm.
"I'm really fine on my own. Plus I have to get changed into the locker room."
"Nonsense. I insist." He uncomfortable squeezed up against her.
At the locker room, she fiercely broke their touch clearly uncomfortable with the situation. "You should get going now, You probably have duties to attend to I presume."
"I have all day. I'll just wait outside all your classes and escort you to each one of them personally." He giggled.
"I'm fine!" She yelled, serious this time pushing him away.
He finally got the message and buzzed off but was not stopping there from trying to win her over.
Frustrated, she changed into her short bloomers and white T Shirt. She couldn't even talk to anybody in the locker room because none of her friends were there.
Giyuu slightly upset her in the morning but it wasn't a huge deal.
Heading inside the stadium she felt overwhelmed with the amount of people she didn't know even though they were all only a year old than her.
Awkwardly, she took a seat next to him on the bleachers.
She didn't take gym class the year before due to the short notice of her move in. Insecurity got to the better of her. Her no curve body showed how unathletic she was compared to the rest of the girls in the stadium.
Height, body was all just a cause to her addiction of studying at a computer or desk.
Cramping back, sore hands from writing and typing. All to have the outcome of a student prodigy.
