But I know that wicked shape to your smile

The ride in the van was silent. The tension stretched taught like a wire, threatening to slice anyone to ribbons if they opened their mouths.

Ranboo turned out to be right, they needed to do a second look at the warehouse. Tubbo really wanted to send in the bot he was working on but he broke it when trying to add to it to suit his needs. He just needed to get in, burn the files to the USB and get out. Then they'd have enough information, turn them into the police and give themselves a nice pat on the back. Maybe order pizza.

That was just the issue, getting in. The plan was to get in through unused drainage pipe, get up to the rafters and into the computer room. In and out, quick as a fox. Tubbo pulled Tommy into a quick hug.

"Hey, I'll be back before you know it, Big T." Tommy promised, holding out his pinkie. Tubbo and Ranboo linked pinkies as well. A promise that everything would be okay. Tommy pulled away, tightened his mask, and took off running. He found the drainage pipes and began climbing. There were broken windows above where the rafters were where Tommy could drop in.

He landed, careful to avoid the shards of glass though most of the glass had been blown away by the wind. He crossed the precarious beams, careful of the ones rotted by rain. Across there was the vent shaft he'd crawl into.

"Be careful, Theseus." Both Ranboo and Tubbo said.

"Always am."

"Update on the vents, we found a more efficient route. It's risky, but you'd be out quicker." Ranboo said quietly. Tommy paused, thinking.

"Tell me, Eventide."

"There should be a door to the left in front of you, boxes piled in front of it. There's a vent above it. Get into those vents then move like hell. There are sensors, weight sensors, one wrong move and the guards will be on you."  Ranboo explained as calmly as he could.

"I'll be as light as a feather, Eventide." Tommy promised, making his way down to the vent. He carefully undid the screws, stashing them in a zipper pocket and sliding in. He moved quickly, but quietly, not trying to cause too much shifting.

"I lowered the sensitivity as much as I could, but still be careful."  Tubbo said.

Tommy continued on carefully, until he came to his destination.

"Theseus, okay, there should be a vent opening at your feet onto the rafters. Good news, you're in the computer room. Bad news, one hell of a drop with one wrong move." Tommy chuckled a bit.

"We've faced worse odds, haven't we Kingmaker?"

"Guess we have, Theseus. Guess we have."

Tommy carefully unscrewed the vent, tucking the screws into a different pocket. Dangling from his hands, he thrust his legs and let go, landing on the creaking timbers.

"Re-screw the vent if you can, we got a different way of getting out." Tommy did as he was told, putting the screws carefully back in from his somewhat precarious position. He then crouched down on the vent, eyeing the computer. He grabbed the edge with his fingers and dangled for a few moments before dropping softly to the ground.

Tommy slid up to the computer, cracking his knuckles before inserting the USB. He waited for a bit before he then pulled it out. He waited a few minutes before Tubbo spoke up, unsure of what to do.

"There should be a window. Slip outside of that onto a drainage pipe. Get up it and onto the third level, there's a collapsed portion of wall near a tree. Scurry down that tree and get back."

"On it Kingmaker."

Tommy followed the instructions to a T, noticing a black bot just buzzing around. Cursing quietly, Tommy kept his head down and kept running.
